Running From The Past

Chapter 30

Police station Captain
"So Miss Ohio can you please tell me what happened on the twenty ninth of November between five PM and four AM?" The officer asked.
He was a round dark skinned man. His eye brows ceased to exist which made it hard for Captain to take him seriously. They had instantly locked her in a small blue room with no windows. All there was were a table, three chairs and a tape recorder. In front of her now was a police officer and a physiatrist. The officer asking questions and the doctor taking notes.

"I'd seen on social media that Seb, Lewis and Chantel where planning on going to the woods. The woods I knew well. Homesdale Woods. I found that this was the perfect chance to complete what I longed to do most!" Captain grinned.

"And what is that?"  The officer asked.

"Get my revenge!" She said through gritted teeth, "As you two probably know Matt Lane was found dead a few weeks ago. You didn't find the murderer. Right?"

"What has this got to do with anything?" The officer interrupted.

"Because sweetie the murders sat right here. Right in front of your fucking face!" She laughed at him and he glared darkly at her.

"Matt Lane, Issac Holmes, Lee and Jackson Rights-worth, Sebastian Hardwick, Lewis Keen and Chantel Woodside. All of them. Dead. And from one little teenager... Why do you look so shocked officer? Oh wait! Of course you don't know about the other murders yet do you?" Captain grinned back at him shaking her head, "Can I just say you must be really crap at your job!"

"Where are these bodies?" The officer asked sternly.

"All in the woods. I can take you to them if you like?" She suggested acting sweet.

"We shall discuss that matter later. Firstly what did you do to them and why?" The officer asked again in a harsher tone.

"Firstly I did it because of what they've done to me and my friends! For years they've bullied us or used us and brushed it off like dust on a table. Then Matt crossed the line...He killed one of my best friends and then told her girlfriend Charlie that is was her fault and it sent her insane!" Captain shouted startling the doctor.
The officer didn't flinch. Calming herself she carried on.

"Not only that but she tried to rape her. Luckily she ran into the woods and came out in another area close to home. Matt didn't know that Charlie had told me that Matt wanted to see her by the park near the woods so I waited. He thought Charlie was still in there with him, but she wasn't...Only me...Once I had the chance I grabbed a large log and started to hit him with it...Over and over and over...Until he was nothing but a bloody mess just like his fucking head was! Soon the others went one by one. They all deserved it...Others may not think so but I do!" Captain finished leaning back in her chair refusing to say anything but the fact she did it.

"Right..." the officer said eventually. He got up and knocked on the door. A guard opened it.

"Take her down. We're going to analysis her results and see what we got. Oh and get the others will you?" The officer said to the guard.

"Who are the others?" Captain asked the doctor.

"Your friends." Were I her only words.

Edith sat in the waiting room shaking. Her and the girls had arrived shortly after Captain had finished being questioned and before they arrived they went through what they were saying and how they don't know what Captain did. The plan was to say that they had been camping out in the woods for a few weeks. Luckily they had left notes before they left for their parents saying they were going camping. They were going to say that every so often Captain would be missing for a few hours and when she appeared she'd say she was just somewhere and that she was always wet like she had just washed. Edith had finished being interviewed and so had everyone but Glinda and Charlie. Now they were sat in the waiting room waiting.

"Glinda!" Katie burst out suddenly.

The waiting room door had burst open and Glinda rushed in.

"Guys Charlie's been taken away!" She cried rushing over to Naomi and hugging her tight.

"What! What do you mean taken away!" Edith stood up shaking harder.

"I was coming out of the interview room and I saw her being taken down the hall kicking and screaming and shouting...I asked the officer where they were taking her and he replied that the psychiatrist was concerned about her mental health and that they were taking her to a near by hospital to check her or properly..." Glinda burst into tears and hugged Naomi tighter.
Katie turned and punched the wall behind her swearing. Edith ran out the room and ran down halls looking for someone to find out what was going on.

"PC White! What's happened? Where's Charlie gone?" Edith shouted at the officer who had interviewed her Captain and Charlie.

"Miss Sharp please calm down." He said to her showing no expression, "You will find it soon enough but first we need to inform her parents."

"No! I will not leave here until I found out what has happened to Charlie! And where's Captain!" Edith shouted at him.

"Miss Sharp! The psychiatrist was concerned about her so they have taken her to a near by hospital to see if she is OK. Happy? As for your other friend Miss Ohio she is down stairs waiting for her trail tomorrow. Believe me once she pleads guilty she is too going to a hospital where people like her belong." The officer said with a smirk.

Edith was about slap that smirk right off his face but before she could Katie grabbed her and carried her away back to the waiting room. Katie sat her down  on a chair and handed her a glass of water.

"Here drink this and listen." Katie said nodding to Naomi.

"Captains allowed one visited before her trail. We think Glinda should go. They don't expect her to do anything unlike us who have fucking lost it." Naomi rolled her eyes and smiled.

"OK. You up for it Glind's?" Edith asked sweetly.

Glinda didn't reply. She only nodded. They all knew that this could easily go very wrong. Glinda was their last hope.
