Standing on the observation deck staring outward into the depths of space Pablo pondered on what would await him next, to the point Gabriella walked in and asked what was on his mind as he simply moved his eyes upward with a playful 'hmm' followed by a small grin.
Gab clearly not impressed by his amusement folded her arms with minor annoyance painted on her facial features making Pablo laugh lightly as they walked out. "You know you can be utterly immature i..." her sentence cut off as he tickled her as they walked, her laugh filling the hall making the odd glance turn toward them until she prying herself away "Enough already, you're meant to be the leader here yet you're acting like this!" being her following words supported more by a blunt tone.
This in turn made Pablo's smile drop and narrow his eye with his brows before rubbing the side of his face walking off with a heaving sigh, these actions only added more to Gab's annoyance but her attention was side-tracked to Vera whom had been watching the pair for a time, "He's too laid back at a time like this, still getting reports of attacks and crisis' yet he's goofing off." Gab began the conversation between the two girls.
"You don't notice it do you?" Vera asked causing Gab to peer at her with raised brows creating a questioning look whilst Vera continued, "He feels lost inside, broken and thrown aside with no-one to show who he really is." she said turning her gaze up at Gab with her then turning toward where Pablo had headed off to.
Looking down at her watch Vera began to run full speed dragging Gab with her, "Training is about to begin, you gotta to see big brother there." she shouted excitingly as the pair ran. Entering the training room the two found Pablo wasn't there being greeted by its Drill-Sergeant yelling a vast array of insults and down-talk to the raw recruits including themselves.
"What's your name little girl!" the Drill-Sergeant yelled down at Vera making her shiver in fear abit before the Drill-Sergeant turned to Gab, "And what about you furball! State your name or drop and give me a thousand!" he barked directly into Gab's face.
Split second later Pablo entered the room as the Drill-Sergeant turned to him called all recruits to stand attention, "High Commander Modoon, it's a surprise to see you here." the Sergeant spoke out before getting a full blown punch in the jaw by his cybernetic hand.
"You don't teach recruits by forcing it down their throats Sergeant, you do it by letting them know the grim reality then build upon that." Pablo grunted in slight annoyance clearly having heard the previous few moments, turning around to face the lines of recruits he began pacing slowly down the line resting his cybernetic hand on the hilt of his Ion-Handcannon holstered on his leg.
"I'm gonna be harshly honest with you all, the reason this region of space is known as the Unknown Sector is cause the three empires dare not venture here to explore it in depth." he stated before turning around on his heels walking back "I stepped up to ensure the populace on every one of those colonies that this region is fit to live in. Sadly I may not succeed." he added staring each one in the eye as he walked with his head darting left to right then directly at the Sergeant.
"We are trained to safeguard, fight and give a fuck about life here. But my real reason for fighting isn't honour, valour or anything of those lines, it's pure revenge for an event set in motion when I was five." The cold statement spoken from Pablo caused the recruits to look at the person either side with their eyes, at the same time Gabriella and Vera looked at one another then back at Pablo who was know staring at the cybernetic arm and hand moving each finger slowly.
"Erm.. sir, if that's your reason why did you save Lady Siy'tio on Bao'ke?" a recruit asked as the Drill-Sergeant beginning to make his way to him with a death like gaze only to be stopped by Pablo who walked over to the recruit looking him dead in the eye, the crimson line of his cybernetic one caused the recruit to blink frantically and gulp every few moments showing signs of fear.
