I looked at myself in the mirror and groaned like a dying whale.

No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get it right-- which obviously wasn't my fault. "Felicity!" I called out, irritation lacing my tone.

"I'm trying not to hate you right now Len, don't make me get out of bed!"

"Felicity Hampshire you broke my glasses, get out of that bed of yours this second and help me not look like a freak!"

"Lenny!" She groaned.

"This is the worst kind of disaster! Can you at least help me fix it, since you know, you're the one who basically ruined my day!"

"I'm here! I'm here!" She picked up the eyeliner and started working her magic on my eyes. Alright, I didn't actually need my glasses to do this but that didn't mean that I didn't suck at it!

"Can't you just wear contacts?" She asked.

"What if I lose it in my eye? What if I lose my eye??? Fel, it isn't safe!"

"Right. Of course it isn't." She shook her head.

"Alright! Done!" She took a step away from me and allowed me to glance at my reflection in the mirror.

"Felicity!" I groaned.

Now I looked worse. It was all an absolute mess!

"You look gorgeous Lenny! I was aiming for a smokey look." She laughed and ran.

"Smokey??? Fel, try barbecued!"

My blue eyes stood out from the mess that Felicity had made around my eyes.

I sighed and washed it all off. I pulled on the costume and wore an old hoodie and a pair of sweats over it. I stuffed my mask in my pocket and held on to it as I left the bathroom.

"I don't understand why you felt the need to apply makeup when you're going to wear a stupid mask anyways." She laughed.

"Well... Honestly, I thought I'd try a new look for Christmas, you know? Something a little different from my I'm dressed like a superhero / weirdo but deep down we both know I'm homeless look. Makeup felt like the right start. You wouldn't understand Fel, you don't have evil stare at your face with absolute disappointment in its eyes."

"Sometimes I feel like you forget that I see most people before they've had their morning coffee." Ah yes, the usual, I work at a coffee shop and you don't!

"Fel, it's not the same! You always look almost presentable but I always look like this!" I pointed to myself.

"It's okay Lenny, one of us got the looks and one of us got the superpowers, to be honest I've made peace with that."

"That's because you're the good looking twin Fel!"

She smirked.

"Lenny? How are you going to see the bad guys without your glasses?"
