"You showed up." He was sitting in bed, reading something that looked old.

"Dark. We need to talk." I said, glancing over the book that he had now placed next to him. It looked familiar?

"You know maybe it's time you started doing stuff instead of just talking to me. We've been talking too much, it's almost like we're friends or something--" he was jumpy? I wasn't used to him behaving like this?

"I want to be a supervillain." I said cutting him off. I didn't need him to be jumpy, I needed him to listen to me.

There was no resisting it anymore. I couldn't pretend to care about being good anymore. I couldn't force myself to be something I wasn't.

"You're kidding." His face seemed to change colour almost instantly.

He quickly understood I wasn't.

"Light." He said softly. "I don't know if you can do that."

"I will."

I noticed his hand drift to the book he had placed next to himself.

"Why?" He asked.

"I can't not use my powers. I was given these powers for a reason and if I can't use them for good, I guess my purpose was always meant to be evil." Maybe I was meant to go through this? Maybe this is how I was always meant to end up.

"I appreciate the enthusiasm. I really do. But you're going to have to wait until the time is right."

"But you wanted me to do this?" I frowned. Almost angry?

"I didn't think you'd agree so soon? I thought it would take more."

"Well, it didn't. Now what?"

"I told you, it's too soon."

"No, it's not." I insisted. He passed a hand through his hair.

"Light, you have to listen to me, this is my territory." He was not happy? His tone seemed to change.

"I can't wait any longer. I'm bored and I--I hardly feel like myself. You should know." This wasn't going to work.

"You don't know how any of this works, so I suggest you wait."

"Dark, I don't need you. If I have to do this alone, I will."

"No. You won't. Why do you suddenly care so much Light?"

I said nothing.

"Go home. We'll talk next week." His voice was calm again now? He was confusing me now. He knew he was messing with me. He knew he was good at this. He knew he didn't really have to try at all!

"Next week?!"

"Right now, it's the emotions talking. I need you to be calm when you take this decision. I need you to think straight when you take your decision."
