Light Beam and Dark Thunder were always meant to be on opposite sides. Enemies with a past and no possible future.
Superhero. Supervillain.
Righteous. Nefarious.
Popular. Infamous.
But there was only one little problem with that: they liked their...

Still waiting for his lips I decided I didn't want to wait anymore. I didn't like the uncertainty. I didn't enjoy waiting for someone to kiss me. I was more of an initiative type of person. But I didn't know if he wanted it or not so I continued waiting.
"You look like an idiot." He laughed.
"This is your shot Creepy Luke, don't fucking ruin it."
"Right, sorry." He cupped my face in his hands and brought his lips to mine. It was a peck. Nothing more. Nothing less.
"Aw come on, no tongue? I didn't force myself out of bed for this." Dark groaned.
"I'm beginning to hate him a little." Luke whispered against my lips.
"A little? At least give me the pleasure of being properly hated by you Creepy Luke." Dark laughed.
I pulled away form Luke and turned to Dark.
"I can still use my powers." He said, casually.
"Did you use them on Elliot?"
"Before you get mad at me, consider that maybe it was the right thing to do?"
"You hit my roommate!"
"He's a little bitch."
"The little bitch was making you soup."
"I hate soup! He was trying to kill me!"
"Elliot!" I called out.
"He's knocked out."
I glared at him. I wasn't going to let him ruin this. This was my moment. And Luke's moment.
I turned back to Luke and grabbed his collar. "Oh, okay." He grinned. I tugged him towards my body and smashed his tender, inexperienced lips against mine. His soft lips traced mine with a sense of urgency, my fingers ran through his silky hair and I noticed Dark turn his attention away from us. Luke had a way of taking back control when he wanted it, even if he didn't exactly know how to use power. He was bad at it but that didn't stop him from trying. Not even a little bit. It somehow only encouraged him to try harder, which I truly appreciated.
I enjoyed it. Him. I didn't want him to stop. I didn't want to stop. Something weird happened then, his body was ripped away from mine.
"Dark, what the fuck?" He had Luke by the throat, against a wall.
A syringe dropped from Luke's hand and I picked it up.
"You see, Super Tower has this policy. And Luke's going to tell you about it." Dark said, letting go of Luke.
"It was just a mild sedative." He said, holding the wall to give him a little more support.
