"Hey Len, you're back early." Elliot smiled as soon as he saw me.
"You were going to have pancakes without me?!" I glared at him. Plopping myself down next to the kitchen counter.
"Yes." He didn't seem affected by my glare at all.
"So what are you going to top the pancakes with? I don't think we have any syrup?" I asked, watching him intently.
"There's some bananas and I thought I'd make a sauce with the frozen berries."
"Are you okay?" I asked, furrowing my brows.
"Yeah--Yeah, I'm fine." He nodded.
"I thought you didn't like bananas?"
"I don't."
"And I thought you said there was something fundamentally wrong with the idea of frozen berries?"
"Yeah, I still believe that."
"So--do you wanna talk about it?"
"Not unless we're both undressed." He smirked at me.
"Luke said he's going to bring Felicity back." I said.
"So--do you need me to move out, sweetheart?" He didn't seem affected?
"Don't you wanna see her?" I asked, hopefully.
"I'm not here for her Lenny." He said, licking his bottom lip.
"Right, I know that! It's just--uh--are you upset? Are you excited? Are you okay?"
"Lenny? Can I be honest with you?" He said, passing a hand through his hair.
I nodded.
"I made these pancakes for myself and I don't wanna share them with you." He smirked.
I focused some sunlight on his hand and he winced, letting go of the pan.
"Ow!" He groaned as the pan fell on his foot.
"You're evil. You're pure evil!"
"Oh I know. That's why they won't let me be a superhero anymore." I smirked.
"Lennox Hampshire! And here I thought you had a crush on me!" He said, shaking his head violently.
"When I was a kid!"
"That just means that even when you were innocent and sweet you knew what you wanted." He left the pancake mix aside and turned the heat off. Then he winked at me and proceeded to his room.
"Hey--what about the pancakes?!"
"Don't freaking touch my pancakes you witch! I'm coming, I just need a minute."
"Did that hurt so much?" I followed him to his room. He was dabbing a wet towel on his foot.
