(Y/N)'S POV

"Can you remind me why we're out again?" I complained again. I hated being dragged places. What's so bad about staying in?! It's way too hot in San Diego.

"Can we just lose our minds and call it love one more time?" Vic whined. I rolled my eyes. He always is so over dramatic.

"What if I say no?" I grinned crookedly.

"Once you see what we're doing, you'll not want to be home." Vic promised.

"Sure, Fuentes, sure." I squinted my eyes in suspicion.

Vic walked me all the way to our old homes. It was the same as it was. My parent's old, rusty car was still in the driveway. There was a for sale sign in front of Vic's parent's house. I hadn't seen my parents in years, but Vic's parents almost always made an appearance when they could. I loved Mama and Papa Fuentes. They crack me up! That and they created two of four of my favorite people...

"Vic..." Tears of memory welled in my eyes.

"Hasn't changed, has it?" Vic smiled at me, wrapping his arm around me. He took out his phone and made an awkward selfie with my crying face.

"There's only one thing I came out here to do." He mumbled with a big smile on his face.

"What's that? Care to torture me some more?" I smirked happily.

"I might be perfect with you." He began.

"Vic, what on Earth are you getting at?" I shook my head in disbelief.

He dropped to the ground. His one knee was placed in front of him perfectly as he stood in the middle of the street.

"It's been nearly ten years. I know we have our troubles, but it's about time I do this." He was blushing hard. My heart raced and my eyes were wide.

"What? What do you mean?" I spoke quickly. Vic's grin widened.

"(Y/N), I want you to marry me."
