(Y/N)'S POV
Goddamn life moves so quickly. One minute we were awkward best friends in high school and now we're getting married and I'm pregnant with his kid. Vic and the boys really grown up through the years. Looking at old pictures brings back memories. Now I'm looking at Kerrang's new 2014 calendar with their photo. Looking at the way they've grown up brings me to tears. I think the change is much different with the ink that just suddenly grew out of their bodies! Vic just kept the one with my name on his hip. No one knows about it...
We were planning on having the wedding after I gave birth...that way I wouldn't have to fit into a tight wedding dress with stilettos. It didn't matter to me, as long as I was with Vic. He kept me alive, I kept him alive. It was like we were perfect for each other. I know that if we never met I'd probably be one of his fans that he didn't know existed, screaming in the front row because whether he liked it or not he saved my life. They saved my life.
Jaime stayed his happy self. I never saw him upset. He got even happier when he started dating Jessica. I think they're gonna' get married. Tony got over his little crush on me and moved on to get a girl named Erin. They're doing okay, maybe I'm a little jealous. Mike and Alysha have always been their crazy selves. They confuse me sometimes. Vic...Vic never changed. He's always been mine. He never changed his hair or his clothes or his attitude like the others have. He's the concrete I need in my life. He's the one that can hold me down with just a stare.
There we were for what felt like forever, cuddling on the sofa of the tour bus. Their fourth album that came out after Collide With The Sky finally got it's tour.
Life went about as a movie in my head. Like the kind with the slowed down credits that showed what each character was doing with their lives after the dilemma.
Mike and Alysha were pounding down shots at the table. She was in his lap and smiling happily. Mike wore a beanie to cover his receeding hairline that we'd all like to forget about. His piercing glimmered under the chandelier. Tattoos made his body a rainbow. Never would I think that an awkward homecoming king with blonde hair that hated my guts once would become one of my best friends.
Tony and Erin happily and shyly watched Mike and Alysha. Tony was fun to watch. He went through the most physical change throughout our happy ten years. The one thing that never changed was his personality. Always shy and never hated. Key Street was a successful company and it was all I would wear anymore, other than Drop Dead. I confess that I do miss the Tony with few tattoos, snakebites, and gauges the size of my fucking fist. Never would I think that a shy, inked up Mexican would fall for me only to become one of my best friends.
Jaime and Jessica shared their phones with each other on the other couch ahead of us, smiling and laughing. Jaime and Jessica were my favorite couple. I knew they'd stay happy together for a long time. Jaime always pissed me off with his hair, but I've grow used to him. It matched his crazy attitude that could flip your bad mood into something it never could've been. He was a guy I could count on if Vic wasn't there. Never would I think that a funny, crazy-looking, colorful man would become a lifesaver to me.
"Baby?" Vic rubbed my shoulder with the arm that was wrapped around my body.
"Yeah?" I looked up at him angelically.
"Everything okay?" He smiled, hoping.
"I'm just really in love." I whispered. Vic's eyebrows went sad as his smile grew wider.
"Well, it seems like i changed your mind." He smiled crookedly.
"Yeah, and we ended up here." I leaned into him deeper.
"Never leave." He whispered in my ear.
"Never." I promised.
Vic. My favorite explosion. No matter what I tortured him with, he never changed. He had the stability I desired. His music that he made with his brother and best friends could send chills up my spine in an instant. It was like a drug that could cure any pain that I endured. Never would I think that a short, long-haired, middle aged man could save my life. My best friend through it all...
