Chapter Five: Plans (Alex's P.O.V)

Alex walked Liz home.  Along the way he saw the twins and decided to go and talk to Lexi.  He pulled her away from earshot.

“Hey Lexi.”

“What’s up?” she asked awkwardly. Lexi was wearing a white shirt with a flower and black jeans.

“There is a party this weekend…want to come?”

“Is it the one Liz is going with Robert?”

“Yeah”, Alex said, thinking he didn’t remember that part of the information.

“Sure”, Lexi looked back to see that the others were coming over.   “Text me when you come to pick me up.”

Alex was about to say something when Liz cut him off.  Annoyed, he turned towards her, trying not to look disappointed that the conversation was over.

“Hey, we have to keep going.”

“Give me a minute, I’ll catch up with you.”

“Okay” 

 Lexi tops him on the shoulder.   When he turns around, he is taken by surprise, Lexi was fading away, literally.

“Did I do something wrong?” says Lexi confused.

“You need to control that”, says Alex while moving his hand up and down in Lexi’s direction.

She gasps as she noticed she was missing her feet.

“Oh yeah”, she says and adds while grinning, “I know”.  All of the sudden she disappeared.

April comes behind him and asks, “Where is Lexi?” April's wearing a violet shirt with a jean skirt.

“I gotta go”, as he ran towards Liz he said, “Wait up.”

When he finally caught up with her, he asked, “so you are going to help, right?"

“Of course!” She says and adds, “I just can’t wait to see his face.”

“You remember what you have to do, right?”

"I'll distract him while you do the rest, can... I.... ask you..." She lowered her gaze and said, “can Sabrina help?"

"Why do you need...?”

"I don't want things to get awkward", she cut in. "Plus I know the history between you two."

"I know you like Robert too."

"Well...", then her eyes got really big, and while looking at Alex she says, "You said too, does that mean..."

Alex didn't answer, he just gave Liz a look. "Please don't tell him, and don't tell him you found out my secret."

"I won't I promise, come on we have to get going. We don't have much time."
