Chapter Sixteen: Secret Tunnel (Robert's P.O.V)

Storming out of the cave, he went to sit on a rock by the lake. He expected Liz or Alex to follow him out but imagine his surprise when a tall brown haired and brown eyed guy sat next to him.

"What seems to be the problem, bloke?" The guy said in a British accent.

"I would tell, but I'm having trust issues again. I don't even know your name."

"Are you, by any chance, Robert?"

"What gave me away?" Robert said sarcastically.

"Maybe a certain blonde girl with green eyes standing a few feet away." Looking at Liz, he added. "Hello love, long time no see."

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in England Luke?"

"You've got to be kidding me..." Muttered Robert under his breath.

"If I'm suppose to be in England, aren't you guys suppose to be in school?"

"Long story, still what are you doing here?"

"Still as persistent as ever love, why don't you ask..."

"Hey guys... I think you should come see this..." James interrupted, the rest behind him. "who's that?"

"It's Luke, the guy I mentioned before." Answered Liz

"You were talking about me? THose little Lizzy have a crush on me?" Teased Luke.

"Shut up, it's not you." Liz said.

"We'll clear this up later, right now let's just go and see the tunnel." Alex ordered.

"Are we lost?" Asked one of the girls, Robert couldn't tell because of the darkness of the tunnel. He suspected it was Lexi.

They, well more like everyone else but Robert, had decided it was a good idea to split into groups of three when we came to a three way passage. The first group consisted of Luke and James, followed by the girls as the second group, leaving Robert with Alex and Scott. Two of the three groups were able to reunite, only missing Luke and James.

Retraicing their steps, they found James all beat up, probably by Luke.

"April, Lexi, Liz; take James to the exit and attend his wounds. The rest come with me. We need to find Luke and clear this out." Robert ordered, surprising himself as well as the others.

Robert went farther into the tunel, followed bay alex and Scott who were muttering to each other.

Then the unthinkable happened.
