Meanwhile, at school, Alex was being dragged by Liz.
"What happened again? I still don't understand why we have to find Scott." Alex whined as they turned yet another corner. Liz already explained Robert's situation.
"I already told you, he's part of this too, ok? My mom is coming after both of them."
"I get why Robert is part of this, being the kid of the prophesy and all. Scott is still a mystery to me."
"Me too." she murmured as they stopped in front of Scott's classroom. "I need you too shape-shift into a teacher, it's the only way they'll let him out."
"Fine, but you owe me one."
Changed into one of the many substitute teachers, Alex entered the class room and checked that Scott was there. He better thank his lucky stars that Alex's 'special ability' also changes his voice.
"Sorry to interrupt, I'm looking for Scott Stoich, he has an emergency call at the office, can he be excused?"
"Allright, Scott back your bags and leave."
As they were walking down the hallway, Liz filled Scott in on the situation as Alex shape-shifted into, well... Alex. They ran the rest of the way
"Where is he then? It's been twelve minutes." Scott said, panting.
"Give him time, Robert's being chased by the counsils top men." Answered Liz.
Scott stayed quiet after that, Alex noticed that he went into shock. Once in front of the school, Alex reassured him that everything was going to e alright. E checked his watch, the fifteen minutes were up but before he could tell Liz, Robert appeared out of nowhere. His hair was covered in leaves and he was limping.
"What happened?!" Liz said and she ran over to Robert and hugged him.
Wincing, he answered, "I'm alright."
"No you're not, come over here so we can heal you before you pass out." Alex said as he helped Robert lay down on the side walk. "Liz I need your help. Scott if you tell a soul about anything that's happened I'll make your life a living hell, got it?" Scott nodded. "Good, Liz I need you to take Robert's shirt off.""W-wha-what?W-wh-why?" Liz stammered.
"He was shot in the shoulder."
Without another word, Alex, Liz and Scott kneeled around Robert attending to his wounds. He had a bullet on his shoulder which was a clean shot and a bruised ankle. Alex heard far away footsteps and started to clean things up.
"Help me get him up, we have to run, now. They're close." Said Alex.

"Your wounds may be healed, but you need to rest, Robert. We can't stay here for long, so we should all rest." Liz said, "this is the first place my mother will look for when she notices we're gone."
"Why are we here then?" Scott asked."It was the closest hiding place there was."
"I'll keep first watch." Said Alex as everyone made themselves comfortable in the woods.
It was ten minutes later, after everyone fell asleep, that Alex saw that the tree in front of him, looked more alive than before. Its leaves were greener and giving fruits. As he turned to look at the others, he noticed that Scott's hand, the one touching the leaves was faintly glowing green, and Scott looked more pail than usual. Without thinking, Alex ran over to him and arranged him so he wouldn't touch the ground. Taking in what happened, he decided to rest with one thought in mind, 'could he be the earth elemental?'
~UT~
"Hey I need to talk to you, could you hang back?" Alex finally asked Scott after much thinking, who nodded nervously.
"Why didn't you tell us about your power?" Alex asked, looking him in the eye.
His eyes widened in understanding as he answered, avoiding Alex's questioning gaze. "I-I, um... Didn't know much about it."
"When did it start? What has happened since?" he had some many questions running through his mind.
"A few weeks ago, but it stopped for a while. Nobody knows except me, a few friends and my brother."
"Good, because if this information got into wrong hands... I wouldn't want to be you."
"You're not the wrong hands, right?"
A bit of annoyance flashed into Alex's face but quickly faded in to a smile, before Scott could notice. "No, at least I don't think so, or hope." He answered thoughtful."Guys hurry up. I forgot to mention we're meeting Lexi, April and James when we get to the lake", called Liz, far ahead of them. Alex immediately brightened up at the mention of his girlfriend, it had been almost a week since they last saw each other.
Running to catch up, the four of them made there way to Lake Valley, on the far side of California. Of course, no mortal could see it, being a magical lake and all. Normal humans just walk right by it, only seeing a little cliff instead.
"We're here, nobody followed us", called James appearing with the twins.
Alex and Lexi embraced upon seeing each other. They kissed pationally, yet slowly. (Not going to elaborate on the kiss). Hugging Lexi again, Alex said,"I'm glad you're ok, I was so worried. I missed you."
"Me too", he mumbled against his chest.
"We need disguises, your mom won't stop at nothing to catch us. While she's busing doing that, we need to find the elementals", said April. "Lucky for you, I brought supplies."
