"Well this has been one weird morning for me, I should get going." said Liz once the happy couple went away. Gabriela sure knows how to get on Liz's nerves, they were best friends when little after all, that was before the betrayal.

"See you tomorrow Liz, and don't worry about Gab, from the way Robert looks at you every time you are in the room, there is no competition." Said April, noticing the hurt in her friend’s eyes.

"Thanks", she whispered. Waving a goodbye, she went home, thinking of her sister Angela, but of course, she is almost never home, our grandfather making her work to the bone, since she was the best at what she does. Thank god I still have to wait two years before I have to go in battle with her, you know, fighting Nicholas's minions and stuff.

"Is everything all right dear?" Asked her mother, Natalie, when she arrived, seeing her daughter sprawled on the couch.

"Mjm, everything just great, mom, just dandy."

 Note sarcasm.

"Don't lie to me, I know there is something's wrong." Sitting next to Liz, she added," You can trust me ok? You know that more than anyone else."

Liz knew what she meant, with her dad's death and her sister Angela so engrossed in work she rarely visited, plus with the move, she couldn't deal with it all at the same time at first, but her mom was there for her. Though she trusts her mom, she still doesn't know how she will react.

"I know that, and I trust you, it's just..."

"Keeping things bolted up like that is not healthy you know? But if you aren't ready, you don't have to tell me right now, just when you feel like talking I just want you to know I'm here." Natalie said with concern yet sincerity.

"Thanks, but I just want to get this of my chest." Taking a deep breath, Liz told her everything from the start, about her crush on Robert, to party and what happened in the woods, ending with a few minutes ago. It felt good, like a weight had been lifted or something, though she was a little worried by seeing her mom frowning.

"Are you completely sure he's the one from the prophesy? Has he shown any sings?" She asked her worried.

"It was confirmed by Rob's parents." Liz said firmly, eyeing her mother, what was she up to now?

"I need to talk to Claire. Can't believe she kept this from us all this time!" Walking towards the house phone, she added," We need to test him for ourselves."

 "We? Who’s we?"

"The Council of course, and that Scott kid too."
