Levi's P.O.V.
Dad came into my room and said "I'm leaving to go shopping. Be good for Parker. I know you don't need to be watched, but just behave. And try not to murder each other."
"I'll try. Bye dad." I replied.
"Bye Lee." He said leaving my room.
I went downstairs and sat down on the couch. I turned on the TV and Rhett came over to me.
"See ya later, kid. And don't bug Park. He might kill you." He said.
"I'm not a kid and I won't bug Parker." I replied.
"Sure you're not a kid." He laughed walking over to the door and putting his shoes on.
"Well I'm not." I said crossing my arms.
He laughed and said "Okay. Bye... Kid."
He walked out the door and Bradley came downstairs.
"Bye Lee." He said walking out the door.
After 20 minutes of watching TV, Parker came over to me.
"After school tomorrow we're going to Uncle Steven's house to see Ross and Link." He told me.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because we haven't seen them for a few weeks and they invited us over." He answered.
"I can't. I'm doing Epic Game Night with James. He has family stuff to do on Friday." I said.
"Don't worry. We'll be back home in time for you to have your little nerd party with your friend online." He replied.
"Whatever." I said.
He took the remote from me and I tried to grab it back.
"Lee, you remember last time you tried to take the remote back? I don't think you want that to happen again so let me have it." He told me.
I sighed and got up.
"Can I take Scout for a walk?" I asked.
"No. He's too strong. He'll end up taking you for a walk. I'll go with you." He answered.
"Okay." I said getting my shoes on.
"How about we go to the skatepark?" He asked.
"I don't know how to skateboard." I answered.
"I know. You can sit on the grass and watch me." He said.
I nodded my head and told him "Hang on. I'm going to get my DS. I'll play it while you skateboard."
"Fine. Just hurry up." He said putting Scout on his leash.
I ran upstairs and grabbed my earbuds, DS and my phone. I went back downstairs and Parker asked "Are you ready?" While grabbing his skateboard out of the closet. I nodded my head and we walked outside.
We live about 10 minutes form the skatepark so it's not like we had far to walk.
"So at the skatepark, I'll introduce you to the people who are there. They might look 'scary' but they're not. We go to this skatepark all the time and they know us here. And words gotten around that we're stepbrothers so if people crowd around us or you, don't worry about it. They just want to be seen with the popular kids." Parker told me.
"Okay. Just make sure they leave me alone. I'm fine with a few people being around me but not like everybody crowded around me all the time." I said.
"I'll try. But more people will start to come around is 6-7 and it's 5:30." He told me.
"Okay." I said as we walked into the skatepark.
Parker gave Scout's leash to me and skated over to his friends. I walked over to him and he said "Guys, this is my stepbrother Levi. Levi, this is Carter, and Ryan."
I waved shyly and Carter came over to me. Scout started growling at him and I said "Scout, it's okay." While petting him.
"I'll be over there, Parker." I told him pointing to the grass.
"Okay." He said. I went to the grass and sat down. Scout laid down beside me and I took a picture with him. I sent it to my dad and put in my earbuds. I put my music on and took out my DS.
I was playing on my DS for a good half hour when somebody tackled me from behind. I looked up to see who it was and saw Parker's friend Dustin. (A/N if you don't know who I'm talking about go back to Chapter 4 and look at the picture attachment.)
"Jesus Christ, Dustin! You scared me to death." I said.
He laughed and got up. I sat up and he asked "What are you doing here?"
"Parker's here and we took Scout for a walk." I answered. Scout was sleeping and woke up when Dustin got off me.
"Cool. I'm gonna go see Parker. Peace out." He replied walking away.
Scout looked at me and then went back to sleeping.
