Levi's P.O.V.
I woke up and got dressed. Today is Wednesday and it's the first day I'm going back to school since the fight with Tanner. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I made myself some breakfast and ate it while watching YouTube videos. I finished eating and put my bowl in the sink.
As I was was walking out of the kitchen, I bumped into Parker.
"Sorry." I said letting him go by.
He walked past me and I went upstairs. I put all my books in my backpack and made sure I had everything. I ran back downstairs and sat on the couch. Rhett came downstairs and sat beside me.
"Are you happy about going back to school?" He asked.
"Kind of. I just want to know what I got on the math test I did on Thursday. James said he got 93% and I want to see if I got better than him." I answered.
"Is it a competition between you two or something?" Rhett asked.
"Sometimes but not this time. We both understood it but weren't sure of a few questions. We've been arguing what the right answer is for one question and I want to see if I'm right. My teacher's giving us them back today but she told us what we got yesterday." I answered.
"Cool." He replied going on his phone.
"Let's go." Parker said coming into the room.
We got up and went outside. Bradley was already out there and we got in Parker's Hellcat. We drove to school and got out. Immediately when we walked in, people started staring. I kept my head down and walked to my locker.
I got my books and went to my first period. I sat down and opened my book I was reading.
After School...
The school day went by super fast and before I knew it, the final bell rang. I went to my locker and put my books in my bag. I closed my locker and walked out to Parker's car. Rhett was outside talking to his friends (Wesley, Ford, Cruz and Grant) and I stood on the other side of the car while looking at my phone.
"Levi, come here." I heard Wesley say. I walked over to them and Ford said "Dang, Reynolds got you good." While looking at my eye.
I stood in between Rhett and Grant and looked down.
"I guess so. But Tanner looks worse." I replied.
"I know. We saw him Thursday and he looked bad." Cruz said.
"Yeah. Lee punched him in the face twice." Rhett told them.
"There is no way that you punched him in the face. You can't even reach his face." Grant said.
"To be fair, he was literally on his knees begging for forgiveness and I punched him. But I can reach his face." I told him.
"Yeah sure. You can't even reach Brad's chin let alone punch Tanner who is two inches shorter than he is." Grant said.
"Grant, you're the same height as Bradley right?" I asked.
"Yeah." He answered.
I raised my hand up and barely touched his chin.
"Get your baby hand out of my face." Grant told me pushing my hand away.
"Jeez, your hands are super small, dude." Ford told me.
"Ford, he is super small. What would you expect? Him to have monster hands?" Cruz said to Ford.
"Ford's right. I mean look at his hand." Wesley said holding up my hand. He put his hand up to mine to show them how small my hand is.
"Okay. I understand. I'm a small person. Get over it." I said yanking my hand away from him.
They went back to talking and I saw Parker walk out the school doors with Dustin.
"Hey Midge." He said to me.
"Hey Destiny." I smirked.
Parker started laughing and Dustin looked at me amused.
"So you finally found a nickname for me?" He laughed setting down his backpack.
"Yeah." I replied.
He came over to me and grabbed me. He hung me upside down and said "What'd you call me, Midge?"
I could tell he was joking so I knew he wasn't mad.
"Destiny." I laughed.
"You shouldn't have done that." He smirked.
