Levi's P.O.V.

When we got home, I went up to my room and turned on my computer. I video chatted James and he answered.
"Hey Lee." He said.
"Hey James." I sighed.
"What's up? You seem upset?" He asked.
"It's nothing. My dad's going on a business trip to Chicago and he's bringing Val. So I have to stay here with Rhett, Bradley and Parker. It's not him leaving that I'm mad about. I'm used to him going on business trips. He goes on them all the time. It's having to stay with my stepbrothers. Rhett's fine, he's great. It's the twins. They are so loud and obnoxious. Not so much now since it's Christmas, but right after Christmas and Boxing Day, I bet they're gonna go back to being assholes." I told him.

"Lee, I bet your dad would take you too but he only has one ticket. It kind of makes sense that he would take his wife and I know you're aware of that. But if you want, I can ask my parents if you can stay here until Val and your dad come back." James said.
"I appreciate the offer James, but I don't want your parents to worry about another kid. I'm probably just going to lay low and stay super close to Rhett when I'm around the twins." I replied.
"Okay. But if you need anything, text or call me." He told me.
"Thanks James." I said.
"No problem, Lee." He replied.

Rhett's P.O.V.

I was in Bradley's room with him and Parker when Jeff came in.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting anything, but I need to talk to you boys." He told us shutting the door.
"Do you want me to go get Levi?" I asked.
"No thank you. I just want to talk to you three. Can I sit down?" He answered gesturing to the computer chair.
"Sure." Bradley said sitting on the edge of his bed beside me and Parker so we could talk to Jeff.

"If you guys want to, I can take Lee with me along with your mom. I know it's a lot of work to watch a fourteen year old and he says he doesn't need to be watched which makes it worse. I'm sorry if it feels like we're dumping this responsibility in you. He can go to his friend James' house or his grandparents house. You guys can have a break from him if you want." Jeff told us.

"It's okay, Jeff. We're fine with watching Lee. We used to watch Rhett all the time. Even though he is a year younger. He's a pretty good kid and doesn't do anything bad usually." Bradley answered.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Positive. You deserve a break from everything." Bradley said.
"Thank you boys. It means a lot." Jeff replied.
"No problem." We said.
He got up and walked out of the room and shut the door.

"So what are we doing for New Year's Eve?" I asked.
"Having a party." Parker answered.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" I asked.
"I don't think we are." Bradley answered.
"Lee. You're forgetting Lee." I replied.

"What about him?" Bradley asked.
"Where will he be?" I answered.
"Anywhere but here. There is no way in hell he is coming to our party. This is a Junior, Senior and Sophomore party. No freshman allowed." Parker said.
"Then where is he going?" I asked.
"The roof, okay? I don't know, Rhett! We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." Parker replied sarcastically.

"Won't he snitch?" Bradley asked.
"Snitches get stitches." Parker answered. "Bradley and I can scare him into not telling mom or Jeff." He added.
"Okay." Bradley replied.
"But we have to take everything from the game room and put it somewhere. We'll have to lock the bedroom doors and the basement door. But what do we need for this party?" I asked.
"Chips, music, snacks, pop, what else?" Bradley answered.
"Booze." Parker replied.

"I don't know about that." I said.
"Since when have you turned down booze?" Parker asked me.
"Since I don't like getting pissed drunk when I'm only fifteen. I don't really like alcohol anyway. And besides, who would even get the booze?" I answered.
"Easy. The same person who buys it all the time. Jax." Parker replied.
"Okay. But mom and Jeff come back the next day. They're gonna know if we're hungover. The house will be trashed." I said.
