I went home after lunch because mom suddenly called me. There is important news I need to know as she said. Good thing, I don't have important meetings to attend today and I cancelled all the minor events I need to head off. I did tried asked her to tell me over the phone but she insist that I need to hear her words personally.
I had no choice but to go and when I reach the house. The first thing I heard when I entered the door was a woman sobbing. I immediately recognize it was her so I ran to her room calling.
I run upstairs and see her bedroom door slightly opened. Her sob becomes clearer, also she's murmuring words that I couldn't understand.
I push the door wide open and what welcome me is my mom crying with her forehead leaning at Ellie's shoulder. She is caressing my mom's back. They both turn to me and mom quickly stood from the bed opening her arms wide asking for an embrace which I gladly accepted.
"God, Taehyung! I've been waiting for you! Your Dad." Mom started to talk while pulling me closer to her but I broke the hug immediately after I heard the word Dad.
"Dad? I thought he's just somewhere intact in his dirty business." I professed sarcastically and mom move few step backwards and gaze at my face intently. Yes, he is my father but hearing about him annoyed me so much. Like, I already deleted him in my world then suddenly he'll come back.
"He is your father, Taehyung! Can you hear yourself?" Mom, asked angrily yet I didn't bother and journey my sight to her visitor that I don't like to see ever again.
"Why is she here? I thought I'm clear about cutting any connection to her. She can't even do her former jobs before. You should tell her to leave, now." I tried to calm myself even I can vividly feel the boiling madness within myself waiting to explode.
"I call her because I don't want to disturb you at work. I... I just want somebody to cry on and I know she'll come whenever I asked. Yet, she requested me to call and tell you because you deserve to know." She explained her action yet, I didn't glance back to my Mom. I am stopping myself to vent my frustration at her and so I am doing it by throwing my death glare to Ellie instead.
"I am now here. Tell her to leave, now!" My voice echoed like a mad thunder within her bedroom. Ellie, surprisingly jump from her seat and grab her chest because of shock. I don't shout to any woman but I badly need to make an exemption. I am afraid that Kelli one day learned that this woman can enter my house.
"I... I need to go. Call me again when you need something." Ellie with her shivering voice told Mom and my mother turned to her and give her a hug before letting go. Ellie one last time glance at me, meeting my eyes but she revoke immediately.
"Since when you started to get rude towards woman, huh?" Mom nagged me yet I only furrowed my brows and met her red swollen eyes because of crying. I am not a little boy anymore that afraid to see hear shed a tear and asked her what I need to do to make her smile. Moreover, I promised Kelli that I will stand on my own and stop being her puppet.
