Two weeks have passed since I offered Ash a wedding and I only have two and half months left now to get married. She has avoided me since that day and she just replies to me when it is important that I ask. She does not even allow each time I invite her to eat outside. I miss Ash and I feel slowly losing her from me.
But today, I decided to go to the mansion of Jin and Rapmon. If she does not want to see me then I will just go to her. I will not force her to marry me if she does not want to. The important thing is that she will not get away from me, she only understands my situation apart from my sister. neither could I update my boss to the publishing house because I was suddenly deprived of writing. I do not want to be left behind again. if it is necessary to be humble I will do it. I will not let Ash get out of my life as my mother's gone from me.
I'm currently looking at the doorbell outside while my forehead is wrinkled. I need to touch it so they know I'm here but I can not do it. I was still confused at this point with my index finger pointing at the doorbell but I was unable to apply my finger there.
It seems like an angel and a demon whispering in my ears. I chose to follow the angel. For Ash sake and besides, I just have to take medication when one of the diseases mentioned earlier perch on me. I heard someone speak on my side before my fingers hit the doorbell button. Ash, again save my life. I quickly lowered my hand before I faced her.
"You do not want to accompany me to lunch then you have not responded properly to my text. I just miss you." I saw her blushing and avoiding looking at me. I also noticed that her red lips were pretty pouted.
"If it's about what you're offering to be married, my answer is still No, Suga." She says and she seems to be irritable but she still does not stare at me straight.
"It's not about marriage. I have no intention of trying to force you. Besides, I thought, I was not right to force someone else. I have this problem myself so I have to solve it myself, right?" I said in the low tone as I watched her press the doorbell effortlessly.
She quickly turned to face me and shook her sigh. As if she was guilty of me. That she would have felt sorry for declining my offer. For she herself would say she was ready to marry me. But she did not speak again. She was silent and seemed to be thinking. I did not want her to be quiet, so I asked her.
"Is there anything wrong? You're spacing out. It feels like you're here but your mind is somewhere else only God knows where." I asked and she seemed surprised. She looked at me quickly in the eyes.
"Do you have ten million?" She asked. I'm now surprised. Because now, I just heard Ash asking me about money. moreover, 10 million? what will she do to that great value?
"10 million? Why?" I confusedly asked.
I saw her laugh bitterly before she speak. "My head cost 10 million. Funny, isn't?"
I feel more troubled now and I did not get what she wanted to imply. Until a few seconds of processing in my brain finally, I realized what she meant. Ash life is in fucking danger!
"Correct me if I'm wrong. Did someone threatened your life?" I asked with full of concern. Ash lean on my car and stare at the gate and she answered.
"Yeah, therefore, I do not really care for myself. I am more concerned with mom. what if they hurt her too?" The tone of his voice was sad.
"I can help you. I can lend you some but in return, marry me. Just think of it as business partnership. We help each other for our own benefits." It suddenly slip out from my mouth.
"I already told Jin and Rapmon about it and they are willing to lend me some money. I only need to wait for two weeks to get it." She said with a prim smile on her face.
I feel very sad. It feels like I am not worthy to marry or be with anyone. Ash's right next to me and knows things about me yet, she do not want to marry, how else can others be? I also do not want to pay a woman. We both got up straight and were surprised when the small gate opened suddenly and there we saw Jin sweating as though some of the tigers had chased him.
"Good thing you're here! I just got a call from the dorm, they couldn't reach you." Jin told her and seems like he didn't saw me there.
"Why? Is there anything wrong?" Ash asked looking nervous to Jin.
"One said, some big guys went there carrying guns. They didn't hurt anyone but they looked for your mom!" Jin exclaimed.
Ash suddenly covered his mouth with her hand and began to weep. I've watched Ash had lost her strength and leaned back on my car but Jin was ahead of me and supported her. I felt annoyed. if I just do not know that he have a relationship with Rampon. I will punch him right now if I'm not worried about dirt.
"Come on, Ashley. We need to go. Your mom might need you!" Jin said and he carries Ash to walk to the car currently going out of the big gate. I'm sure Rapmon is driving it.
"Let me come with you, guys!" I shouted and Jin looked at me. It seems that he just noticed that I was there.
"Okay, just follow our car."
Jin quickly nodded. I immediately got into my car and turned the machine on. I just led them first and then I followed after. Now, I just thought that maybe she was acting strange due to problems. why did she not told me? am I not trustful? But, how can you trust in someone with his own personal trouble he can not solve? I've had a lot of trouble in my brain but I just threw it all. The important thing is I'm here for her.
I was in the middle of driving when my cellphone rang. My lawyer calls. we did not talk about meeting today. But I still answered the call. Maybe it's important.
"Hello. what do you need from me? I'm busy now." I started the conversation right away.
"We need to talk, this is very important. Let's meet somewhere you like."
"Can we do that later? I need to go somewhere right now." I said and still driving trying my best not to lose Jin's car from my sight.
"This is about Taehyung and the company. Please, set aside that now and meet me."
"Okay, fuck you. Let's meet now. Where are you? Let's see each other there." I did not stop my irritations and I cursed him.
"You're welcome, Mr. Min. I'll send you the details right away." He hang up the call after saying those.
