I've been busy savouring the view outside through black tinted window of Suga's car when Bam-Bam get my attention.
"Miss. Ashley? Are we really going to the Zoo?"
He asked hopefully and excitement is visible on his cute chubby face.
"Yes! Do you see that white guy that drive this car?"
Bam-Bam nod his head quickly.
"He will take us to the Zoo!"
Bam-Bam clapped his hands while screaming yehey. I glance at rear view mirror and all I see was his dim aura with the scowling face. I can't blame him if he's mad at me. I did not informed him that a child will accompany us. Yet, I'm thankful that I manage to force him in the end. He only made me promised that I will take good care of the child and not let Bam-Bam disturbed him.
Finally we reached the Zoo. Suga, park his car somewhere not too far from the entrance. We enter the huge gate designed with giraffe, birds and monkey painted drawing and altogether approached the ticket booth.
"Good afternoon Mr and Mrs, how many tickets?"
I felt my cheeks burn and shy. I diverted my attention to Bam-Bam who's excitedly jumping.
"We're not Family. Three tickets."
I abruptly turned to him. Yeah, we are not a Family, that's the truth. Still, it touches my heart to hear that us are mistakenly took as a whole one.
He face me and gave me the two long paper with the Zoo printed name on it. I quickly wear one to Bam-Bam and Suga manage to wear it to himself one second without a hitched. I also tried to wear mine but I can't do it. I stared at him intently and he furrowed his brows.
"What?"
"Can you wear this to me? Please?"
Suga, snatched the paper ticket from my hand and put in on to me carefully, trying his best not to touch my skin.
"Let's go."
He said with cold voice and walk ahead. I watched him wear his black mask and put his hand inside pockets. Bam-Bam excitedly pulled me as he run and so we passed by him. I looked back to him with my apologetic look, yet, he just sigh and walk faster to follow us.
We first went to the bird section. It's very relaxing to see birds resting at the tree branches. Their chirping sounds are also heard clearly. I took a lot photos of Bam-Bam with the cages, it warmed my heart to see his smiling face. He is having a hard life and things will get more difficult as he grow older Since he has extra-ordinary family.
We went next to the Giraffe, monkey, snakes, crocodiles until we reach the cute fluffy rabbit's booth. I pay for an entrance and Let Bam-Bam played with them. I invited Suga to sat down at the bench in front of the booth where I can see Bam-Bam clearly.
"Are you having fun?"
He pulled down the mask down to his chin and speak.
"Do I look like having fun?"
I scowled my face. He's a pure killjoy! I took a deep breath too and watched Bam-Bam hapilly feed those Rabbit while touching their furs.
"You know what? I envy Bam-Bam."
I said in a low voice but enough for him to hear.
"Why?"
"Because, although he has imperfect family, still he can manage to smile real and sweet. His parents love him alot."
I heard him chuckled bitterly that made me glance at him.
"If his parents love him enough. Why are we here instead of them?"
"Because it's complicated. They just think of what the best for him. Especially that he's too young to understand everything."
He now turned to me and I don't know if I my eyes faking it but sadness was visible to his eyes.
"I was eight when my eyes opened to how adult world works."
He stated and turned again to the Booth when he suddenly stood up and panicked.
"Shit!"
I also look at the booth and my strength left me in an instant. Panicked, fear and anger embraced me at the same time. Suga, speedily fixed his mask.
"We lost Bam-Bam, Ashley!"
He angrily approached the booth and I followed him.
"Where's our Bam-Bam? The boy wearing blue shirt, and has chubby cheeks?"
The person can't speak. Like, already conceded that he didn't fulfill his job well.
"How the fuck can the kid get out of this fucking booth without you noticing it?"
The personnel bow his head while saying his nonstop sorry to Suga. I grabbed his arm to calm him, he glance at me and slowly his anger faded away.
"Let's look for him. He maybe is around and just lost his way."
Suga Nodded and turned again to the personnel.
"If we really lost him, I'll make sure you lose your job."
Suga told the personnel with his rough low voice and left to start searching. I was left and also talk to him.
"Please, help us. Tell all the staff in this Zoo that we lost Bam-Bam, do a paging or anything."
The personnel nodded and so I leave too alone to search for Bam-Bam.
Be safe Bam-Bam. Gosh! Jin and Rapmon will kill me.
