Chapter 14

POV: First person

Screaming, lots of screaming. Murder, lots of murder. Hatred... So much hatred. I did something... Something bad... What did I do?

Shooting up I look around with full alert. Sans was sitting in the corner of the room looking out the window. Looking down at myself I see I'm in a hospital gown. What the fuck happened before? "I see you're awake," Sans says while walking closer to the bed. Something seemed off about him. Nodding I look around nervously. "Yeah, I am. Where's the other one? G I think?" My (H/c) hair falls in front of my face and I gladly hide behind it. " Cut the shit (Y/n) I don't know who you're trying to convince with this amnesia shit, but it's not working on me. You know that you altered this timeline and you're going to tell me why." Confused and scared I back up to the headboard of the bed. Staring in shock through my hair my (e/c) eyes widen when Sans' eye begins to glow a blue and yellow. "What the fuck is that? Sans! I swear I don't know what's going on! Please just tell me what's going on." Placing my hands up in defense my body starts to glow a bright red. Clenching my eyes shut I wait for something bad to happen, but nothing does. Peaking and eye open I see a boy with short brown hair standing in front of me and smirking at Sans playfully. "Long time no see comedian. Miss me?" The tension in the room intensifies and I just stare in silence unable to process what's going on. "Chara...I should've known this was your doing." Sans somehow summons several bones out of thin air and aims them at Chara who seems amused by the entire situation. "Slightly, this is both of our doing comedian, believe it or not. (Y/n) here is just as evil as I." Sans looks just as confused as me when the boy Chara says this. "What? I don't even know you! What is going on here?" Chara laughs at my confusion and pats my head softly. Sans looks at the both of us, but with a little bit of sympathy towards me. "You wiped her memories of what she did and chose to wipe them when I knocked her out." Chara laughs again with a more psychotic laughter. "Congrats on figuring it all out, but now how are you going to stop me? The only way is to kill your best friend here, (Y/n)." Looking at Sans I feel my blood run cold. Would he really do it? Sans raises his hand and aims the bones at me. Before I can even scream for him to wait I feel so many things piercing me at once. Looking down I see three bones impaling me. Looking back at Sans I see him with a horrified expression. "Oops, looks like I lied." Chara laughs again and walks behind me with a large grin. Playing with my hair in their hands I feel like I'm falling.

I'm falling...

POV: Second Person

You wake up with a jump looking around frantically. You poked yourself for a while until you came to the conclusion that you're alive. You wonder if it was all a dream, but your thoughts are cut short when Sans clears his throat, leaning at the end of the bed. "Hey..." Sans' voice held guilt, but you were terrified of him. Backing up as far as you can go you pull the blanket up to your eyes. "S-Stay away!" Your voice wavered, but you didn't care. "Look, I know you remember what just happened, but you need to trust me. Chara is bad news and you need to tell me how you extracted the determination from Frisk so I can fix this." Shaking you slide out the bed and bolt out the door. Running through different hallways calling for G you refuse to look back. Pushing harder you run around a corner and smash into a large fish woman. Falling back into your ass you wince in pain. "(Y/n)?" Looking up you see G and the fish woman staring at you. "G, help me, please! Sans is after me. He's not safe." G pulls me up and inspects me. "What are you talking about? Are you hurt? Did he hurt you?" G looks at me concerned, but I couldn't trust if he was on my side or not. "Yes, but no. It's hard to explain. Just don't let him come near me." G nodded and places me behind him when Sans comes rounding the corner. "G, we need to talk. About (Y/n)." G shakes his head and pushes me farther behind him. "What did you do to her? She came running, begging me to hide her from you. What did you do?" Sans shakes his head in irritation. "I'll explain, just come with me." G grabs hold of my hand causing me to blush a little and tugs me lightly back down the corridor.

" I won't let him hurt you. I promise."
