Screaming I shoot my head up from my desk and look around to find Sans standing a few feet away. Was that all a dream? Did I die? "What the hell happened?" I say as I rub my eyes trying to piece together the dream or the not dream? Before Sans says anything G comes bursting through the lab door staring at me. Standing up I stare as he pushes past Sans and walks straight up to me and stops just a few inches away. "(Y/n)?" He reaches out at touches my arm unable to believe that I'm an actual person. Looking down I say, "So I'm guessing what I just woke up from wasn't a dream?" Pulling me into a hug G wraps his arms around me tightly. Unsure of how to react I just fall limp in his arms not sure if I want to hug him back or throw myself out of my office window. When at last G pulls away he studies my face causing me to shift uncomfortably. "What went wrong? Why am I alive? Why am I here?" Pacing back and forth I head back to my desk and search through notes trying to figure out what went wrong. "What save point is this? Are we back at the beginning again?" G gripped my arm and I ripped it away and looked at him with wild eyes. "Calm down dove, we'll explain everything."

G and Sans, mostly G explained what previously happened and that I did take us back to the day before Frisk arrived. Shaking my head I make a pulling motion in front of my chest and a cracked pale red heart floated out. G moved closer to look at my soul and I resisted the urge to move away. "Your hp is at two and your determination is even lower," Sans said as he too moved closer to get a better look. Shoving my soul back into my chest I slip off the lab coat and place my glasses atop my head. "What should we do?" my question floated out into the air and three heartbeats passed before Sans said, "You finish your machine and remove the rest of the determination form your soul." Scoffing I say, "As if I'll get back in that machine. I expected to die in the last timeline, but I didn't. I was mangle and felt every moment of it. Frisk has the majority back, this determination is the only thing keeping me alive." Sans says nothing more and walks to the door. "You're still a threat." and with that, he walked out and teleported home. Bracing both hands on my desk I let out a pained sigh. "This was all a mistake, just one giant mistake... I shouldn't have ever done this. There's no coming back from this... Is there G?" Tears fall onto the many notes scattered on my desk as I try to breathe. Two black boots stop at the front of my desk and a bony hand lifts my chin. "Do you think even the worst person can change? that everyone can be a good person if they just try?" My lip wobbles and the tears just start streaming down as I refuse to meet G's eyes. "Look at me sweetheart." a small gasp escapes my lips as I raise my eyes to meet his. "You're a good person dove, and somewhere deep down inside you, I know that the girl who had my back at one point in time is still in there somewhere. You know who you are, and what you're capable of. Things might not ever be the same again, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try." Loud and absolutely unattractive sobs shook my body as I brought my hands up to my face and cried. G wrapped his arms around me and we stood my office for a while. "Alright enough with the crying you big baby." The tears didn't stop, but my heart and soul felt a little lighter.
