POV: Second Person
Staring into the mirror you make a very impulsive choice to cut your long, (h/c) hair. Tears slide down your cheeks as you angrily chopped piece after piece. Sighing heavily you slide down the wall and quietly sob. The past few weeks has consisted of Sans yelling at you for refusing to fix the machine, Sans and G fighting, Frisk trying to apologize for some sort of guilt, and Papyrus' somber face. Currently, it's 3 am and everyone's asleep, except you. Gripping tightly to your knees you sit and rock back and forth for a bit. You're tired, and everyone knows it, hoping it's a phase. Slowly you rise back up and meet your own (e/c) eyes in the mirror. Reaching up you touch your now choppy shoulder length hair. Wiping your tears you decide you're over all of this shit, with magic, and you're depleting hope for normalcy. Quietly but hurriedly you rush into your room and pack a backpack with money, clothes and the snacks you hide in the drawer of your desk. Sliding on a hoodie you fling your window open and hop out. Scratching yourself falling onto the bushes, but you scramble to your feet and take off running into the night. Without looking back you push your legs to go as fast as possible to avoid one of the boys waking up and chasing you down. Sprinting into the city you rush for the bus station in hopes of catching a bus before the sun comes up. Reducing your sprint into a slow jog you look for a secluded bus stop. Off near the subway entrance, you spot a greyhound bus stop hidden tight beside a large office building. Quickly you make your way to the bus stop and glance panicked around making sure no one's watching you before pulling out your phone and checking the time, 4:20 am. Checking the bus schedule you search for the closest time and learn the next bus comes in ten minutes. Throwing up your hood you stand at high alert waiting for the minutes to tick by, refusing to rest until you're on the bus. A vibration begins in your pocket and you go completely rigid. Your phone is ringing... Sliding the phone out of your pocket you look down to see Sans calling you. There are five minutes until the bus comes and you feel like you're next to exploding. Letting the call go to voicemail you slide it back in your pocket. Feeling nervous now you debate whether or not if you should just go back home, G will miss you, wouldn't he? Papyrus too, right? Taking your phone back out you look down to see messages from both Sans and G. Just as you think it's safer to turn back the bus arrives. Nearly throwing yourself onto the bus you quickly pay the fee and sit down near the back. Letting out a breath you didn't realize you were holding you open the messages as the bus begins to move.
Sans: "Where are you?"
Sans: "Why is your hair everywhere?"
Sans: "Answer my call (Y/n)."
Sans: "You're really running away huh?"
Sans: "And here I thought I'd actually apologize to you today."
Sans: "You're a coward."
Closing Sans' messages you hold in a sob as you go to open G's messages, unsure if you even what to read them after that.
G: "Dollface? Where'd you go?"
G: "Sans is fuming, where did you go?"
G: "Sweetheart message me back, I'm begging ya."
G: "Why did you run away?"
G: "(Y/n)? I'm sorry, what did I do? Come back to me dove."
The screen shifts to a call screen as G's picture flashes. He's calling you. Sliding the answer button you place the phone to your ear. "Hello?" Your voice is rough and scratchy from all the crying. "Where are you?" It sounded more demanding and angry than concerned, you recoil at the tone. "Don't worry about it G. I'm done with all of this mess, I want no part of this shit anymore." Sniffling you wipe your face of tears. Almost beggingly he says, "Tell me where you are and I'll come getcha and I'll make sure that things start changing for real dove." Shaking your head you know there's something more laying in between his words. Shakily you breath in, "I-I love you G, I always have and always will, but... We both know I can't be with you. I changed fate for you, died for you, lived for you, and I even tore myself open for you, but I need time to figure out how to love me for me. I'm sorry but it doesn't look like you'd do half that shit for me, all you got is sweet words and no actions." Resting your head on the window you glance up and see the city that made everything possible for you. "It's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming. On days like people like me should be on their way to hell... Goodbye G." Before he can get another word out you hang up the call and turn off your phone. The sun is rising and so is this new turn on your life.
