Y/n's pov

I get up and shower and get dressed then head downstairs for a quick bite before I head out to the photoshoot, I send a quick text to Vanessa.

Me: Morning gorgeous, how are you?

Vanessa: Super tired but so excited that you're coming 😁😁

Me: So am I, I'll see you soon!

I put my phone in my pocket and I grab the keys and get in the car I follow the gps but I decided to stop and get Vanessa a coffee. I arrived at 8:30 so we could have some time to talk before her shoot. I go up to the 7th floor where Vanessa said that they were shooting and I give the security guard my name and he lets me through. I make my way to Vanessa's dressing room and I knock and hear a faint "come in" so I walk in and she looks up in the mirror and smiles.

"Hey I got you a coffee, I thought it would help you wake up a little." I said handing the cup to her and she smiles gratefully and takes a sip.

"Thank you so much I needed this" she says and gives me a kiss on the cheek. We talk until there's a knock on the door and a blonde woman's head pops through the door.

"Their ready for you Vanessa" she says and leaves. Vanessa leads me to where she'll be shooting and tells me to stay put. The photographer starts telling Vanessa how he wants her to pose and she does so. After a few pictures I pull out my phone and take a video on Snapchat then I post it on my story with the caption "I guess you're pretty good at this👀🙈"

A few of the girls ask me where I'm at and who I'm with so I just tell them I'm with my friend. I was about to put my phone away but a notification said the Moe was typing and my heartbeat sped up a bit.

Moe😬🙊💗: Hey did I do or say anything wrong? You were supposed to call me back that one night and you never did, I'm sorry if I did anything wrong. Please call me or at least a text would be nice I miss you :(

I frown and realize that she was right I never did call her back that one night and we haven't talked in a while, I start to type a response back but I hear my name so I close the app and look up to see Vanessa looking at me smiling.

"Come take a few pictures with me for fun" she says and I smile a go over to her and pose with her while the photographer takes pictures of us. I check the time and see that it's already 11.

"Hey Nessa I have to get going I have practice in an hour I'll catch you later" I say grabbing my stuff I give her a hug and she kisses my cheek.

"Thanks for coming Y/n it was cool having you here, call or text me later ok" she says and I nod and leave getting in the car and driving home, once I get home I quickly grab my soccer stuff and head out with mom and Ash.

"How was the photoshoot?" mom asked

"It was cool" I said and we talked about other stuff, we get to the field and change then start practice.

Moe's pov

I saw that Y/n posted something on her snapchat story and I looked at it and she was at some photoshoot with I guess her friend. I feel something weird in my stomach and I didn't like it so I just ignored it and I sent a message to her. I saw that she opened it and she started to reply but then she never did I feel a tear slip down my cheek.

what did I do wrong?

"Hey Moe? You okay you're crying" I hear Julie say and I shake my head yes

"Now don't go lying to me Moe, I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong" she says

"It's Y/n she said she would call my a while ago and she never did and I tried to reach out to her on snapchat today and I asked her if I did or said something wrong and she was starting to reply but she never did and still hasn't" I said sadly and at this point Christen came over and was also trying to help me.

"Maybe she is busy Moe I mean the girl did just join the Pride so I imagine she might be quite busy with that and I know that they are in practice right now because I was talking to Ali earlier just give her a few hours and if she doesn't call you then call her, I'm sure it will all work out Moe." Christen said and I nod and wiped my tears away.

"Alright thanks guys"

"You know Moe love isn't easy, Chris and I had a few rough patches before we started dating and now look at us we're engaged. Trust me it'll work out" Julie said and I looked at her confused

"Love? I don't love Y/n, I just miss my best friend" I said and they both looked at each other

"Whatever you say Moe" they said at the same time. We watch a few movies on Netflix to take my mind off of things and when the movie finishes I feel my phone vibrating.

Y/n would like to FaceTime...

I quickly press answer and soon Y/n's face pops up on my screen.

Me: Hey! You called I'm so happy I was starting to worry that I did something wrong.

Y/n: Moe I am so sorry I meant to call you back that night but I forgot and I've just been busy and I'm so sorry I left you on open earlier something came up. She said looking down

Me: Hey don't be sad I get it you were busy, so you went to a photoshoot today that's pretty cool, who's was it?

Y/n: It was my friend Vanessa's shoot she invited me to go.

Me: She's pretty

Y/n: Yeah she is

Me: Do you like her? my eyes widened because I didn't mean to say that out loud and she chuckles

Y/n: Nope Vanessa and I are just friends besides I kinda got eyes on someone else

Me: Oh really? I couldn't help but feel disappointed that Y/n didn't have feelings for me

Wait, what am I saying? Maybe JJ and Christen were right I do like Y/n

Y/n: Yeah, actually I think you know her she's got blonde hair, these big brown eyes, a great smile and she's from Georgia. She says and I look down in thought and she laughs

Y/n: Moe it's you

Moe: Oh! I blush

Y/n: So Moe our first game of the season is against the red stars, ready for your team to loose?

Me: Hey! If anybody's team is going to loose it's going to be you guys!

We continue to talk until I hear Ali call her name so we say our goodbyes and I hang up, I hear someone clear their throat and I turn and I see Julie smirking.

"Ok so maybe I like Y/n"
