EDDIE'S POV

"Billiam, my man! What's the plan today my stuttering friend?" Richie exclaimed and wrapped an arm playfully around Bill's shoulder.

"S-Stan and I were puh-puh-planning on going on a hike" Bill replied, and smiled at Stan who grinned at him and intertwined their fingers.

"That sounds fun, but if it turns into you and Stan fucking, then-"

"Beep Beep, Rich" I rolled my eyes.

"We'll keep it PG as long as you and Eddie do too" Stan teased.

"Fair play, Stan The Man" Richie chuckled, and grabbed my hand.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but chortle at my goof of a boyfriend. He pulled me close to him and smiled at me as I intertwined our fingers.

We walked to the Quarry cliffs together and stared at the top. There's an easy path up, and then there's a hiker's path. It's steeper and more rocky.

Stan and Bill were in front of Richie and I and Bill was holding an encyclopedia of birds while Stan was looking through binoculars with a camera around his neck. They were smiling and laughing as they admired our surroundings.

"They're so cute, Richie" I whispered to him.

He glanced at them and chuckled.

"Alright, I'll admit they're cute. But we're cuter, Eds" he whispered and kissed my cheek.

"Look at you being romantic, Richie" I teased.

"I can be romantic, Eds" he played along and placed his hand on his heart.

I giggled at him as we ascended the cliff.

"Hey, Bill?" Richie called.

"Yeah?" Bill answered nicely.

"Are there any loose rocks on this path?" he queried.

"Uh, no, I d-don't think s-so"

"I hope not"

"Hey, don't worry, I'll catch you if you fall" I teased and grinned up at him.

"Likewise, Spaghetti man" Richie chuckled, and rubbed his knuckles on my hair as he put me in a headlock.

"C-Cut it out, Rich" I giggled, and he laughed heartily before ceasing the noogie and instead wrapped his arm around my waist as we hiked.

"C-Come on you, goofs. K-Keep up" Bill laughed, and he and Stan led the way up the cliff.

The two of them walked hand in hand in front of us and occasionally Stan would point out a bird while Bill looked for it in the encyclopedia. They're such a cute couple. I love Richie, but I'll admit I'm jealous of Stan and Bill. What they have is so beautiful.

Richie noticed my distracted expression, and gave me a concerned look.

"Eds? You okay?"
