EDDIE'S POV

I was sitting on Richie's bed scrolling through Instagram as I listened to Richie play his six string. He's so good, and I felt so relaxed as I sat back and watched him in awe. I couldn't help it.

I snapped a video of him playing and uploaded it to my Insta.

As soon as I posted it, I watched the comments climb.

I laughed as I scrolled down the comments. The majority were comments about us being a couple, and the others were comments telling us how much they love us.

What they don't know, is that Richie and I are a couple. He stopped playing and came over to me on his bed.

"Hey baby" he smiled, and planted an affectionate kiss on my lips. "Whatcha doin'?"

"Hey Rich" I grinned. "Look at the comments"

I scooted over and he laid next to me. I cuddled up next to him and showed him my phone. He chuckled as he scrolled through the comments.

Richie and I are together, but we haven't told anyone, except for Stan and Bill. It was nice to see the support from our friends, but the occasional homophobic/negative comments and idea of our parents finding out...

It would ruin us. For now, we were keeping it on the down-low. But it's still painful. We hangout as much as we can and try to get alone time as often as possible but it doesn't always work. It just made me want and love Richie more.

I grabbed my phone and he laughed heartily.

"I love that they ship us" he said smiling as he turned his head to face me.

"Me too" I replied with a grin. "But they have no idea"

"Can you imagine if they found out?"

"They'd freak out"

"Totally" he said, and we broke into a fit of giggles before I climbed on top of him and kissed his soft lips.

"Y'know...I know it's not easy keeping this quiet, but...I'd rather do hard with you, than easy with anyone else" I tell him gently, and his lips curled into a wide grin as his eyes twinkled.

He rested his warm hands on my waist as I cupped his cheeks.

"I'd rather do hard with you than easy with anyone else too, Eds. It's worth it since I get to be with you. I love you so much, Eddie"
