RICHIE'S POV

"I don't see why it's a big deal, Eds!"

"Because, Richie! You can't just fucking leave the stove on and not expect there to be consequences!"

"I forgot, okay! Jesus, Eds"

"And that's another thing! Stop calling me Eds, Goddammit!"

"Since when have you hated my nickname for you?" I crossed my arms and scoffed.

"ALWAYS!" he yelled, and threw his hands in the air.

I hung my head and his expression softened. He ran a hand threw his hair and rested his other on his hip as he sighed.

"Dammit, Richie. I love you, but I'm so tired of fighting with you all the time"

"I'm sorry, Eddie" I cried. "I don't do shit on purpose, it's not my intent to hurt you"

"I know you don't mean to, but it doesn't make it any less annoying or aggravating...can you just...can you leave, please?"

"Eddie, please don't tell me you're trying to say what I think you are" I questioned worriedly.

"No...I don't know, just leave, please. Just give me some time" he whispered.

"Okay" I said gently. "I'm sorry, Eddie. I love you"

I waited for a response, but he just sat down on the couch and rested his head in his hands.

I wanted to comfort him. To hold him in my arms, but I didn't want to make things worse.

I kissed his head and walked out the door.

EDDIE'S POV

I wanted to chase after him and tell him to stay, but I couldn't. I wanted to scream for him not to leave, but I knew I'd only push him away.

I love Richie. I do. But all we do is argue, worse than before we started dating. Honestly, I do love the nickname he has for me. I love the teasing and his goofiness and stupid jokes.

Because underneath his rough exterior, I know that he has a beautiful beautiful heart, one that is kind and funny and protecting.

But I'm tired of fighting.

I called Bill for advice. I would've called Stan, but I knew his advice would be to just shove Richie off a cliff, and that was not an option.

Plus, he'd be with Bill anyway, of course, so I called Bill.

"Hello?" He answered curiously.

"Hey, Bill" I said with tears in my eyes, my voice already quivering.

"Hey, Ed. Wuh-Wuh-What's wrong?"

"Richie and I fought again" I sighed.

"I figured" he let out a soft chuckle. "Do you wanna come over and talk about it?"
