RICHIE'S POV

"I Gotta say, Stan, I'm glad you found the courage to propose to Bill"

He scoffed.

"Like you weren't a nervous wreck around Eddie, either, smartass" he chuckled.

I laughed and shook my head.

"Hey, Eds and I may have been obliviously chasing each other for a little while, but you and Bill took FOREVER"

He chuckled warmly and shook his head.

"Yeah, I guess we were really oblivious, huh?"

"Huhh" I sighed, looking at me and Stan in the mirror as we straightened our ties. "Feels like forever ago, eh Stan?"

"Sure does, my friend" he agreed.

"Did you ever think about this when we were younger? I mean, did you ever have a moment where you knew today was gonna happen?"

"Now that you mention it, I did" he smiled and turned to face me.

"When?"

"When we were teenagers. I mean, I don't know if I knew I'd marry Bill, but there were moments where I just knew he and I were endgame. And he and I both knew you two were too"

"Thanks" I grinned looking down, then brought my head up.

"Like what moments?" I asked curiously.

"I think we both know the first one" he chuckled.

I grinned at that. The first time I ever felt that way about Eddie and Stan felt that way about Bill was when we first met, and went through the trauma of Pennywise with the rest of the Losers.

"Something just clicked when Eddie and I first looked at each other, really looked at each other in the eyes. Something just clicked," I snapped my fingers, "and something inside me just said that I was going to fall for Eddie. No stopping it, no warning, I just fell hard for him. It was a hard fight, but, look where we are now, brother"

"Yeah...way to make me feel nostalgic, Richie" we laughed. "But you're right. I knew Bill and I were endgame that first time I looked into Bill's eyes and we just kept staring and giggling because we couldn't look away"

"This is good vow material" I chuckled.

"I was planning to use that too" he chortled.

"Hey, are you two goofs done giggling like idiots or are you just gonna sit there and leave Bill and Eddie waiting?" Beverly burst in, hands on hips, and scolded us like the mother figure she is.
