"So, who started it?"

Without a split second, both of them pointed at each other. Mabilis nagsalubong ang kilay ng dalaga at hinarap ang binatang halatang walang pakielam sa nangyayari pero kitang-kita parin ang pagkapikon sa mga binitawang salita nang dalaga kanina.

"Ako? Bakit ako?" pagpamaywang ba tanong niya, "You were the one who dragged me around in the first place-"

"Alright, let's say I did that. But who started a trouble in the cafeteria between us two? Hindi ba ikaw?" taas kilay na tanong ng binata dahilan para mapa tikom ang dalagang si Devesin.

It took a while for Devesin to process before she came up with her answer.

"Clarisse did!" she shouted defending herself. "You were there, you saw what happened stop acting like a villian now you jackass."

Jecko's eyes widened as he let out a scoff, raising his glasses up in his nose bridge while clenching his teeth, nag pamaywang din siya at pinanliitan ng mata si Devesin.

"Jackass? Shouldn't you be thanking me now because I saved your stupid self earlier?"

"Sinabi ko bang iligtas mo ako? Hindi naman diba?" Devesin's voice echoed inside the room making the dean massage his forehead in stress knowing there will be no end of this.

"You sound like you're mindless- I could define you as an idiot actually!"

"Wow, talaga? Should I take that as a compliment or what!?" panlalaki niya ng mata sa inis, "Kanina pa talaga ako punong-puno sa 'yo, dapat talaga hinampas kona 'yang bungo mo sa bakal kanina nung tayo-tayo lang para wala na sanang nangyayari na ganito!"

"Oh so you're planning on murdering me now?"

"Why not!?"

"Okay enough." Xairon slammed the table causing the two to stop bickering like 5 year olds.

Devesin stood straight, trying to calm herself as she turned her whole body and attention forward to the dean, but as she glance quickly at Jecko, her blood boiled once again after seeing his judgemental look.

"C'mon!" Xairon sounded like he is about to cry because of tiredness, "It's first day of school and you already did something disastrous!? Give me a break."

"I'm not the problem he-"

"We." Jecko corrected Devesin's statement.

Devesin cleared her throat, "W-we are not the problem here! Clarisse is, siya dapat ang disiplinahin mo at hindi kami, sangkot lang kami sa gulo no."

It was intense for the dean to see both of the students glaring at each other, sa mga titig na binabato nila isa't isa, para bang ano mang oras mananakal na ang isa at mambabali na ng buto ang isa pa. Umayos siya ng tayo bago magdesisyong magsalita pero naunahan na siya ni Jecko.

"Yeah, Clarisse did." that made the dean's eyebrow raised up in amusement, a bit shocked that he defended the female in his next sentences. "She doesn't have to do anything about the chaos that happened earlier, nadamay lang siya. Nadamay lang din ako, it's Clarisse's fault."
