Junkrat x Reader: Pestering

Sorry it's been over a month now, but like I said. Slow updates, and life has been totally crazy, but I finally did it.

Growing up in Australia during the omnic crisis was not easy. Everyone was hostile and was pretty much you looked out for yourself, and no one else. To add on top of that, I was a child, homeless to add to the misery. Being homeless,a child, and in Australia, there was no way for survival, that is until I met Jamison and Mako, or Junkrat and Roadhog. Junkrat was 7, two years older than me, and Roadhog was about 30. They became my family when they found my in an alleyway surrounded by men, and has protected me ever since. As time went on, I slowly began to grow closer and closer to Junkrat, and see him now as a love interest more than a brother, but I still saw Roadhog as family. We were in our twenties now, while Roadhog was 40, almost 50, and we had just finished robbing a bank, while successfully getting away.

“Oi, Sheila, we really did hit the jackpot, didn't we!?” Junkrat yelled in my face.

“Oh…. Uhh, yeah, we sure did!” I said as cheerfully as possible.

“Are ya alright there Sheila? Your cheeks are really red. Are ya sick? Does Roadie need to find some medication?” Junkrat kept babbling on, not shutting up, while we were walking through a deserted alleyway, which held the passage to our hideout.

“James, im fine… honest.” I said, trying to sound convincing, but failing miserably.

“I'm not buying it Sheila, what's going on?” He kept pushing, while Roadie went to put the goods in the secret closet.

“Jamison Fawkes! Just drop it!” I yelled at him, I saw him flinch at my words, and even caught Roadhog’s attention.

“Alright, I'll be on the roof if you need me…” he trailed off.

I sighed and went off to sit in a chair at our 'dining table’ and put my head down.

“You know he's only worried about you like I am.” I heard Roadhog say.

“I know. I just don't think I'm ready to tell him yet though.” I explain to Roadhog, as he already knew about my crush on Junkrat.

“(Y/N), I know you don't believe me when I say this, but he feels the same way about you, as you do him.” he says.

“Are you sure? I don't want to make thing awkward between us.” I explain.

“Trust me. He'll feel the same way. Now to talk to him.”

“I don't know… it still doesn't feel like the right time.”

“Stop being chicken, and go tell him.”

“Fine.” Slowly, I get up, and walk over to the door leading to the balcony outside., finding Junkrat sitting on the edge looking out at the sunset.

“Hey. Got room for one more?” I say with a small smile.
He returns the smile and says,” There's always room for you Sheila.”

A go and sit next to Junkrat and say,”About earlier, I didn't mean to scare you off like I did. I just wasn't ready to tell you what's on my mind, but now I am.”

“What is it?”

“Jamison, I've known you since we were kids, and we've always had each other's backs, and as time went on, I began to see you in a new light. I started to find your smile and laughter absolutely captivating. I found your burnt ends and toned body to be utterly attractive. And what I think I'm trying to tell you, is that you make me smile, and that I really really like, in mind re than a friend way.” I said looking out at the sunset, then back to Jamison, only to see Junkrat looking back at me.

Slowly the gap between us seemed to slowly get smaller and smaller, until there was no such thing anymore. The kiss was go gentle it was hard to believe it was the same person who seemed to be insane. The kiss was short, but gave off plenty of passion.

“Sheila, I've felt the same way for so long, I'm glad to hear you return the feeling.” He said right before pulling me into a more heated and loving kiss.

As the two continued to make out on the balcony, Roadhog came to make sure everything was alright, only to be greeted with the sight of you two partially naked. He quickly turned around, and walked away before you two could notice.
