Dagur made his way to the mainland, carrying something important for Snotlout, to help show he was serious this time around. Last time he had promised to try to not get his name messed up, and Snotlout knew as well as he did that Dagur did know his name, and then he had played another trick on him. He had heard his seriously angry yell from his Island and was less pleased then he had wished to be. So he had gotten to work on making a new trophy. While Dagur was traveling with Sleuther to the mainland, a singetail attacked, Sleuther tried to shoot it with his fireballs, but the Singetail moved too fast for him to keep up. Dagur heard rustling from behind and then a loud growl, expecting another singetail he was surprised to see his beloved Shattermaster appear and start firing as well, they stood in front of him and blasted and swiped all they could, but it was all in vain as three more showed up to help that one.

Josephine was awoken by the roars of a wild dragon on the island. "Obsidian! Go check it out boy! Make sure no one gets hurt."

Obsidian gave an affirmative growl and then took off towards the battle.

Dagur really had changed, he had tried every trick he had picked up on his way around, none worked on this pack. He was possibly about to die, and yet he would not bring himself to use his axe and kill this dragon. Especially not on the Edge. He thought of how disappointed Hiccup would be in him for destroying not one but four dragons that they barely knew anything about.

Just then Obsidian flew over head and roared to Shattermaster and Sleuther, oddly enough they went to shield Dagur with their wings, and then Obsidian swooped down in front of all three of them and roared at the Singetail pack, shooting out electricity at them in all directions. Their fire didn't hurt Obsidian or Dagur's dragons, but Obsidian's electricity sure hurt the pack, but only seemed to bounce off Sleuther and Shattermaster. The pack roared to one another, and then the leader retreated as Obsidian growled threateningly. He turned back to Sleuther and Shattermaster, bowed respectively to show them he wasn't a threat, and they let him see the one they guarded.

Dagur was amazed to see the skrill in front of him, he'd never met this one before, but it already protected him. Dagur noticed that the skrill had a saddle and he wasn't wild, but who did this beautiful dragon belong to? "Hey boy. Thank you for saving our lives..."

Sleuther and Shattermaster showed their agreement.

Obsidian leaned his head into Dagur's and purred, showing that he was welcome. He then turned, bowed his head and flew off towards his home.

Josephine was happy to see him unharmed. "I knew you could do it. Was everything all right?"

Obsidian rubbed her face with his head to show that all was ok.

Josephine laughed and settled to go back to sleep, and he curled up in his spot.

Dagur turned to Shattermaster "Oh and now you want to come, huh?" Dagur tried to sound scornful.

Shattermaster just tackled him and started to wag his tail to see Dagur.

Dagur laughed. "Yeah yeah, I'm happy to see you too, Shattermaster." And the lovable dragon let him up. "Well, I'm late. I need to get to the mainland. You want to give me a ride?"

Shattermaster let Dagur mount him and Sleuther followed to where the other riders were waiting for him.

Hiccup greeted Dagur first as he landed. "Hey brother, how's your stay been so far?"

Dagur's eyes widened. "You just called me..."

Hiccup smiled back at him. "Dagur, you are my brother, don't act so surprised. I thought you wanted me to call you that?"
