___________________________________Alex put on a confident look when she walked in. She didn't want anyone to just hit on her, shaky girls tend to be easy targets. She sat by the bartender, and asked for just a regular beer. Alex checked her phone to see tons of Harry's apologetic messages. All Alex did to that was laugh, and continue drinking.
Pretty soon the bartender went over to check on Alex, and her depressingly sad face. He looks like a nice enough old man, so when he offered her the chance to open up, Alex spilled everything, and told him about what had happened that day.
"Ouch, that sounds like a pretty miserable day."
"Yeah it was, but I wouldn't be here if all those things hadn't happened haha."
"Hahaha, you're a strong one. You remind me of my daughter. Tell you what, I probably shouldn't, but it's on the house. Drink up as much as you feel you need, alright? I'll call you a cab if you get too drunk."
"Oh, no, no, no! Haha... You don't have to. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble with your boss."
"Haha, he doesn't mind. Trust me, I would know."
"Thanks mister, I appreciate that."
"Pff, it's nothing, just enjoy your night. There's a good band playing in a bit. If you feel like dancing, that'll be the time to do it haha."
"Will do."
It had been less than an hour, and four guys tried to get Alex's number. Of course, she rejected them all. There was no one alive who would deny it, Alex was gorgeous. But her upbringing was not one that inspired confidence. In addition to all that, she wasn't in the mood for any romance.
After that, Alex continued with her drinking, slowly though. She didn't want to go overboard. Alex eventually went to the dance floor, and got lost in the music. Meanwhile, right outside the bar,
"Woah, woah, woah, hold it right there kid. I thought I told you to go home. You already got kicked out of here once, I ain't letting that happen again."
"I know, I know, but I left something in the bar, I'll leave as soon as I find it alright? Nobody will notice that I'm here."
"*Sigh* Five minutes. I'll let you in, but if I see you causing a ruckus again... You're staying out until the old man says so."
"Alright, thanks man."
"And hey! There's a pretty girl in there, maybe now would be a good time to take my advice I gave you earlier."
"Pff, piss off."
"Hahaha."
James walked in thinking out loud, "Pretty girl, pff" He was stopped by the next words that came out of Jackson's mouth, right after taking a few steps.
"Yeah, man. She had an ugly-ass jacket just like the one you normally wear."
James stared with his eyes unchanging at the guard outside. He ignored Jackson, and immediately walked inside.
"Hehe, guess he does know her. haha maybe he took my advice and got himself a girl haha.... Yeah... I wish."
Alex was having the time of her life. She never thought dancing could feel so nice, just moving with the music, not caring about the problems in life. She hadn't realized it, but Alex was drunk before she got on the dance floor.
All of a sudden someone grabbed her by the waist to dance, or rather... She latched on to someone to dance. She didn't care who it was, all she wanted to do was dance the night away. After a while, Alex looked at the person whom she had grabbed onto.
It took her a while to realize it, but she was staring into the eyes of the man who saved her earlier. Her body kept moving with the music but Alex's eyes were staring straight at his.
"Didn't think I'd find you here, gorgeous. Not at this time at least. Rough day at work?"
Alex just smiled when he called her gorgeous. It soon became evident that she wasn't talking straight. Alex was too drunk to care about what she said or did. She flirted with her stranger without even knowing.
"Well, a shit load of... bullshit happened today, so why not drop by a bar? Haha, didn't think I'd be dancing with my hero with the pretty eyes tonight."
"You're drunk."
"Mmmm, hehehe, and I need you."
"And I want my jacket back, if you don't mind."
Alex looked at James with lustful eyes, and noticed he was in awe that she was capable of making the face she made. He snapped out of it pretty quickly, though, almost as if he was intentionally trying to stay serious.
"Alright, alright, that's enough dancing for tonight. I'm gonna get going now."
"Ehhhh?!! But I'm not finished with you yet."
Alex grabbed him by his wrist, and dragged him outside with her. As they walked out the front, Alex waved Jackson goodbye. He was giving the two supposed "friends" a sly look.
"Hey Jim! Find what you were looking for? Buahahaha."
Alex was dragging James to the back alley of the bar, but to do so, they needed to go by its side. After walking a few steps into the alleyway, James asked the question.
"Slow down lady! Where are you taking me?"
"Behind the bar haha, where else would you wanna make out?"
Alex could see his surprised look, she just assumed her hero dressed in black was too shocked to stop her. When they finally got to where she wanted them to be, Alex slowly pushed James to the wall of the building. She leaned in, and lightly blew on his ear causing James to make a light twitch, and slightly pushed Alex away from him.
"I... I think we should stop.."
"Ahaha~ but we're already here, baby."
Alex could clearly see herself that she needed to stop what was going on as well, it was getting out of hand, but she just couldn't resist. She slowly leaned in once more to see if James would push her away like he did the first time she tried. Alex got so close to him that their noses almost touched. James didn't stop her.
"What's the matter, pretty boy? Cat got your tongue? Hehe."
"I.."
Alex prevented James from saying whatever he wanted to say by closing the gap between them. The moment their lips touched, shocks went flying all over Alex's body, and she tensed up. James groaned a little, and was able to mutter a few words.
"We shouldn't be..! *groan* doing this."
Just when James felt like he was about to take control of the situation, Alex grabbed him by his crotch which interrupted his sentence, allowing Alex to seductively say,
"No? Hehehe."
Alex stared into his eyes before leaning in to kiss him again, she was all over him. Alex was hoping to take him home to get her beautiful eyed stranger in the same bed as her. Things were liable to get very heated between them if that happened. The only question on Alex's drunken mind at that moment was,
"Will he go through with it though?"
