Unexpected Encounter

"Well, that was unexpected..."

Nigel's words broke the silence that had fallen over everyone after Crissy was released from the control of the witch of Admah. Crissy was still holding the cursed Babylonian helmet after removing it. Her facial expression suggested that she did not want anything to do with Alex's crazy friends anymore.

Abigail was now awake and none the wiser to what was going on. She could not remember anything that happened after talking to the six winged angel. She remembered that the angel told her that it's master was not happy with her for not believing in him, and the guilt kicked back in.

"Dad!"

"I'm here, baby! What are you even doing here?! You could have gotten yourself killed!"

Nigel was checking on Crissy to make sure that she was alright. The poor woman was shook to the bone by what had just happened!

"Hey, are you okay?"

Crissy looked at Nigel and exclaimed the following,

"She... She let me go! I thought... Thought that... I though-- She wasn't going to let me go but then..."

The others came closer and watched as Crissy recovered from the trauma of giving her body up!

Athina stepped in and asked a few questions about the event that had just taken place, starting with why the witch would give up her freedom after being trapped in the helmet for, presumably, a long time.

"Well... apparently, Crissy is pregnant! Congrats by the way! Mupallidat-Serua sort of changed sides a few thousand years ago hoping to save her soul from the fires of hell. Ever since then, she's had a list of people whose bodies she would not take permanently. I guess pregnant people fall on that list!"

"Next question."

Continued Athina,

"When she was possessed, Abigail yelled something out to James. What does "רַמַאִי" mean?"

"Ah! It means "cheater". Apollyon is the fallen angel of death. It meant that James cheated it in death. Apollyon isn't the only one either! There are a bunch of other nasties out there that are pissed at James for not dying!"

Gabriel kicked in for the questioning as well after Athina's good ones.

"You said he was a fallen angel... What kind of fallen angel? I don't think I've heard of one with six wings like that!"

"It-- Not he-- It is a serahp... It is one of the two seraphim that were cast out of heaven during the fall"

"And what is a seraphim?"

A seraph is the singular of seraphim. Seraphim are the angels that stand in the presence of God in heaven. They have six wings: two to cover their faces, two to cover their bodies and feet, and two to fly. Nigel explained all this with ease as if he actually read the bible cover to cover and a bunch of other books on angels and demons!

"Not that I'm in any actual hurry, but I'm in a real hurry! Nigel, thanks for the coffee and for the near hell experience, but I got a girlfriend to save."

James was in no mood to be delayed any further! He wanted to go and nothing was going to stop him!

"Yeah, sure... I'll uh... Do you need to get dropped anywhere? Anything you need for the trip? He'll only use me against you if I go with you, so I guess I'm not going..."
