I sat comfortably on the stoop of my house, images of her saturating my mind.
She was so interesting to me, not quite an enigma, but not an open book either. Jayde was sexy, and not in a blatant in your face type of way, but she exuded sexual appeal subtly. It flowed off of her in the most unexpected moments, like when she walked or she stared at something particularly hard. That's what I enjoyed most about her‒when I did feel that desire flowing off of her, it was when I least expected it. It kept me on my feet.
Who knew a woman that shy could be capable of the things she does to me. The way she takes me all into her mouth and swallows, or the fact that she's let me inside of her multiple times. At first glance, no one could ever place her in a situation except me. And that was the best part. No one else had received anything like that from her and they never would. I was her first and I was going to be her last.
Some days had passed since I bought her lunch during her break. Under my standards everything was going well, but one crucial thing hadn't been discussed yet.
A part of this game was exclusivity and that had yet to be established. That was always a delicate subject that had to be approached with care.
You ask too soon and they think you're trying to control them; ask too late and they state they've been seeing someone on the side because they thought you didn't want anything serious.
The latter was always the worst. I hated making people disappear especially if that could have been avoided. Unfortunately, that has happened to me before and as much as I loved the whole feeling of murder, it presented a slight inconvenience to me that I didn't account for.
Unlike the first few months where I watched her movements like a hawk before we had even had the chance to converse, I watched her much less now; only during the day when she was on her way to work, and at night when she was coming back home from her shift. It was for the sole purpose of protecting her.
I looked up, sunlight no longer clouding my vision. The shade that had been kept at bay by the sunlight slowly crept farther up the stoop I was sitting on, breaking the suns reign for the day. The sun disappeared completely within the hour, coating everything in darkness.
The thick trees overhead made it so even the bright moon that sat low in the sky could barely penetrate the thick canopy.
The forest atmosphere always gave me a sense of peace. Being far away from the hectic city was good for me. I could only interact with hordes of people for so long before my social battery completely depleted itself. And then after that I was liable to want to shred anyone that caused me the slightest discontent.
With one last glance at the portrait like setting in front of me, I stood and brushed myself free of any debris and went back inside. The T.V still played softly in the background on the same channel I had left it a few hours ago. An infomercial played on the screen advertising something no competent human would ever need.
