Ethan's POV

"Jen, we're almost out of food, down to one water bottle, and completely out of gas." Tony said, suddenly snapping me out of my light sleep.

"I know. We've been running on fumes for hours, I guess those finally left. I guess we're walking from here. Hopefully we'll find some food and water on the way." Mom responded.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked out the window.

"We just entered Waco, but we ran out of gas, we'll have to walk from here." Mom said as she got out of the car. Tony got out of the back and I got out of the passenger seat.

The three of us began walking down the road.

"Let's search through that RV right over there, maybe we'll find some more food or water." Tony said as he walked over to an RV that had run off the road and into a ditch.

Mom and I followed him and we searched the vehicle for anything useful.

I went to the back of the RV as Mom searched the front and Tony searched the center.

Woah... that's a lot of weapons.

I saw that there were several handguns, a shotgun, a couple rifles, a bow and quiver of arrows, a couple machetes, and finally a slightly curved short sword, a little bit longer than the machetes. I grabbed the sheathed weapon and drew it from the sheath.

There's what the sword and sheath look like, if you were curious. It's a type of sword called a Kopis.

"Holy shit." I whispered to myself.

"Well, whoever owned this was prepared. There's a stash of food and water in the kitchen cabinets." Tony's voice came from the other room.

"Yeah, they also had a ton of weapons. Guns, a bow and quiver of arrows, machetes and a sword." I said as I walked to the door of the bedroom and showed him the sword in my hand.

"Damn. Well, see if you can find any bags or anything to hold all those weapons and this food, not all of it will fit in our bags." He said as he started pulling food and water out of the cabinet.

I went back into the bedroom and opened the closet, inside there was a lot of clothes, none of which would fit any of us so I ignored them, and there was a backpack and a duffle bag on the top shelf. I jumped up and grabbed the duffle first and then pulled it down, after that I did the same for the backpack.
