We have arrived at the finale of season 3!
I'm actually really excited for this for a couple reasons. Firstly, this is probably one of my favorite chapters so far. Secondly, I'm really excited to get into season 4 because it's a really exciting season. It will be a death filled season though... let's hope our favorite characters don't bite the dust any time soon.
Ok, I'm done talking for now so let's jump right in to the finale!
Carl's POV
"Get everyone off the walls now." I said as I started to climb down from the tower. "Tell them to go to the central field." I finished.
Cindy nodded and started walking along the wall telling everyone what I had told her to.
"Adam said to be prepared for an attack... I expected people not walkers." Ethan said as we walked towards the field.
As we walked by homes we knocked on the doors until whoever lived there answered. When a door was answered we told them to go to the field for a meeting. Cain and Abel had run ahead of us to find their friends in the slowly forming crowd in the center of the farm. Once everyone was gathered in the field waiting for the meeting to begin I stood up on a table and got everyone's attention.
"Angela's group attacked us here, at our home." I stated simply. "We are completely surrounded by walkers."
People gasped and looked in the direction of the walls all around us. Even from this distance I could see the protective wooden structure shaking.
"What's the plan?" Damian asked over the stunned silence of the crowd.
"That's what we're here to discuss." I answered. "We have a few options. First, a small group of us take cars out there and get their attention with the horns then draw them away. Second, we try to kill them all, we have ammo and we have melee weapons... we have manpower, it's risky but we could do it. Lastly, we could leave, we have enough cars and gas to get us to a town not far away... we could go there and rebuild... but we'd have to leave everything behind, it'd just be our people and our weapons... otherwise we won't all fit in the vehicles."
People began glancing around. Parents pulled their children close. A woman held her newborn baby girl against her chest and tried to shush the cry's that had started to sound from the girl.
"We don't have a lot of time to decide." Talia said as she climbed up onto the table next to me. "Those walls won't hold forever." She finished grimly.
The crowd then began buzzing with voices.
"How will we decide?!"
"You got us into this mess!"
"What do you think we should do?!"
"Why'd you take us into a war like this?!"
"My kids' lives are at risk because you decided we had to go to war with that group!"
"What if none of those plans work?!
"Everyone shut up!" Damian shouted above the whole crowd, silencing it completely. "All the yelling and arguing won't help anyone."
