Jake's pov

Finally it's Friday and Chance is having his party tonight I have to ask Erika if she's coming today. The beginning of the week was shit but now it's ok the teacher moved me next to Chance because Anthony wasn't in our class. Alissa shows up late everyday to class a mess and with tears in her eyes. She always looked at me but I had someone else in mind. Me and Chance sat behind Erika and Tessa so I would stare at Erika as her hair moved with her motions. She was so beautiful I barley knew her but she's so nice I keep replaying the scene where Logan walked in Would I of kissed her? I woke up to my alarm buzzing in my ear I got up and took a shower. Then I got dressed and went downstairs and sat down to eat breakfast

J:Morning Mom
P:You seems awfully happy
J:Yeah it's Friday
P:I understand that
J:Can I got to a party at Chance's tonight
P:Sure just be back at 10
J:Ok I will
P:Do you need a ride home
J:I don't know yet
P:If you had any drink I'm picking you up
J:Ok Mom I'll text you

Me and Mom ate breakfast then Logan walked downstairs

P:Hey Lo
L:Hey Mom
P:Jakes going to a party tonight you should go
L:Nah it's a senior party I have a date
P:Oh with who
L:This girl named Joyce
J:Is she cute
L:Shut up jake you already have a girl
J:No I don't

I grabbed my stuff then went to school. I headed to first period and sat next to Chance

J:Bro your still doing the party right
C:Yeah are you still gonna make your move tonight on her
J:Yeah I am what if she doesn't like me
C:Are you kidding your the quarterback and she likes you I can see it
J:Fine
C:When are you asking her to come
J:At lunch
C:Ok

We got through half the day and finally it was lunch. We all sat with Erika and Tessa but Erika looked upset i didn't know why but Ill ask her at when she finishes her lunch.

Erika's pov

I got up today and did my usual thing. My mom left for work early so she left me fruit and a smoothie. I ate my fruit then grabbed my bag and smoothie and got into the car. Tessa texted me that her car broke down so I picked her up and we drove to school. We got to first period and I heard jake and Chance talk about a party and how jake was gonna make his move on this girl. I got sad and upset because I thought he liked me or he's just a fuck boy. Tessa noticed me then pulled me aside after first period

T:What's wrong
E:Did you not hear jake and Chance talking
T:About the party
E:Yeah and the girl that Jake was gonna make the move on
T:Hahahahahaha omg are you serious
E:Yes I thought we had a connection
T:Rik that girl is you
E:No it Can't he didn't even invite me

Me and Tessa walked to our next class and I kept thinking maybe Tessa's was right but he never asked me to come. I was over thinking it so I ignored it and we got to lunch. After I ate jake asked me if he could speak to me outside. I was in a funk because of what happened so I walked outside with him
