Erika's pov

My heart throbbed from the heart break I've caused. I let the alarm blare for a minute before I shut it off. I stared at the clock while I just laid in bed. My mom barged into my room 30 minuets later

An:Erika! Get up
E:*groans*
An:*sighs* come on
E:Fine I'll be down in 10
An:Hurry your gonna be late
E:I'm going

My mom left then I rolled out of bed and threw on baggy sweatpants and a tank top with a sweatshirt on. I put my hair in a messy bun then brushed my teeth. I grabbed my bag then walked downstairs

An:Erika grab breakfast on your way out
E:I'm not hungry bye love you
An:Love you t-

Before my mom could finish I closed the door and left. I drove to school with the same expression on my face. No emotions showed just pure brokenness from my own damage. Once I got to school I walked down the hallway to class not bothering to find Tessa. She shut her locker then ran next to me

T:Hey Rik what's wrong
E:You really need to ask me that
T:Yes
E:You know what's wrong
T:*sighs* you still don't get to ditch me like that
E:I'm sorry I'm just not feeling the best
T:Ik let's head to class
E:That's what I was doing

Me and Tessa walked to class talking well it was me giving her short answers and her trying to start a conversation. Once we got to class we sat down then the bell rang. I felt the eyes on me and the whispers about me fill the classroom. I put my head in my hands then class started. All my focus was on schoolwork because that's all I had to focus on. The day went by slowly and in every class eyes on me and whispers about me. I continued to focus and zoned everything out besides the voice of the teacher. At lunch it was the same whispers and eyes but I felt worse because Chance and Anthony were death glaring me. My heart broke more but I also noticed Jake wasn't sitting next to them. Throughout lunch I watched and waited to see if Jake would be at their table and be eating but he never came. Tessa tried to distract me or force me to eat because I was so focused on seeing if jake would sit at the table

T:*sighs* come on we gotta head to class
E:The bell rang?
T:Yeah like a minute ago and if you don't wanna be late to class then let's go
E:Yeah sorry

We walked to class and got through the rest of the day. Finally the last bell rang and I walked to the locker room for practice. The whispers continued then I started to change

M:Hey Rik
E:Mackenzie? Why are you talking to me shouldn't you hate me
M:Erika please if you did this regularly I would be concerned but you cheated on Jake once
E:Yeah and I feel like a horrible person
M:I know what it feels like
E:What
M:I cheated on a boyfriend for some reason that I don't know I just did it and I've regretted it forever
E:Yeah I know what that feels like
M:*chuckles* I'm sorry about Jake

M:Omg....you don't know

Before Mackenzie could finish I grabbed my stuff then ran out of the locker room and down the hall. Alissa stopped me
