Erika's pov

It's been a week since Jakes been in a coma and a little over week since we "broke up". I've felt the same everyday and dressed the same. I also visited Jake in the hospital everyday and cried everyday. Today was no different except the fact that today was Friday. I woke up late then got dressed and went downstairs to grab an apple

An:You gotta start getting up earlier so you can eat a regular breakfast and get out of this funk

I walked out of the house and drove to school. The bell just rang so I rushed to class and sat down. Of course I got the usual stares and whispers throughout my classes. Finally lunch came and I ate lunch with Tessa while we talked

T:Erika
E:Yeah
T:Can you dress the same anymore
E:Yes
T:*sighs* can you get out of this funk

T:Jake depression funk

T:Erika you've literally dressed and acted the same for a week

People around me looked at me

E:*sighs* please you'll never understand I put him in the hospital and he'll probably take pills the rest of his life because of me

A tray slammed onto the table and Derek sat down

T:Oh great Derek.......
De:Why do you hate me
T:Geez I mean you try to kiss my best friend the third day you reconnected with her and know the shit she's going though

Oh yeah a few days ago Derek tried to kiss me but I pulled away because shit like that got me in this situation. I love Derek but just as a friend because the only person that had my heart was Jake Joesph Paul he just doesn't feel the same to me now.

EI just wanna get to class earlier and write a few notes down

I got up then grabbed my stuff and headed to my next period. I sat down and wrote my notes before the bell rang. The rest of the day went by like it always did then I went to cheer practice.

M:You going to visit Jake today

M:When do you think he'll wake up
E:I don't know but I've heard the doctor say soon
