Erika's pov

Days, weeks, months went by where I was broken from what I did to Jake. It broke my heart seeing him hurt from his panic attack but Jake was better now. He started to play football again but he was destroyed from what I did. Not to mention I can't remember the last time I smiled. I feel like the worst person in the world. I felt like everyone knew what I did but no one did they just knew me and Jake broke up. He hung out with a different girl everyday yet I was still stuck on him. I'm a monster I lost everything I ruined our relationship for a dumb reason. I don't even know why I cheated on Jake I love him more then I love myself. I almost lost Tessa the only person that supported me with everything. She stood by
my side and even broke up with Chance just for me. I don't deserve her I never have and never will. I woke up groggy then took a shower and put sweats and a shirt on which I seemed to live in these days. My hair was in a messy bun then I walked downstairs to get breakfast. It was late so I grabbed an apple then said bye to my mom, grabbed my stuff and left

An:Bye sweetheart
E:Love you
An:Love you too

I got in my car then drove to school. I found Tessa and we talked for a little before class. Chance and Anthony gave me nasty looks like they always did which made me feel worst then I could think. We made our way to class and the whispers started. First period was the worst I was always the first to leave once the bell rang. The day went slowly like they always did. It was eating me alive I needed to apologize to Jake but I couldn't. I would still be a terrible person. Tessa and I talked throughout lunch then the bell rang and we went to class. Finally the bell rang then I went to cheer practice. Our practice was cut short today because they needed the gym to set something up for tomorrow. I walked with Mackenzie to my car and we talked. Our locker room was passed the fitness room were the boys would practice for football. My eyes glanced over into the window and I saw Jake boxing with his friend from football. His hair was drenched in sweat and he was covered in sweat giving him a glow. I stood in front of the door and watched him for a while. He stopped for a minute then glanced over to me. I walked away quickly to catch up with Mackenzie

M:What was that?
E:Nothing
M:Were you staring at Jake?
E:No......
M:Erika
E:I need to apologize
M:Are you sure that's a good idea?
E:Probably not it's just eating me alive
M:Ok girly tell me how it goes tomorrow
E:Yeah *sighs* I'll see you
M:Bye Rik
E:Bye

I got in my car and drove home contemplating if what I was gonna do was the right thing to do. Once I got home I talked to my mom for a little

E:Hi Mom
An:What's wrong?
E:Nothing I'm just tired
An:You should go to be early tonight
E:Yeah I'll try
An:Want a snack?
E:No I'm fine
An:You sure?
E:Yeah
An:It gives you energy
E:I know but I should go finish my homework
An:Ok honey if you need me I'm here
E:I know love you
An:Love you too

I walked upstairs and did my homework as quickly as I could before I would wimp out.

Jake's pov

I got up this morning then did my usual routine of showering then getting dressed. I walked downstairs and my mom handed me a plate of food before I could say anything then I sat down.

J:Good morning Mom
P:Morning honey
P:Why are you so happy?
J:I don't know I just am
P:Ok then
P:When you get home today I'm not gonna be home
J:Why?
P:I'm needed in the office for a few hours
J:Ok that's fine
P:You have practice today right?
J:Yeah do you know where my boxing gloves are?
P:Uh I think their in the closet
J:Thanks
