Jake's pov

I woke up this morning and got dressed so I could go on a run. I grabbed my headphones and started my run. I passed through my neighborhood and through the next where Erika's house was. I stopped near her house so I could take a break and drink some water. After my run I went back home and made myself an egg with toast then went to take a shower. I dried myself off then got dressed. I had to finish a few things for my apology to Erika so I got in my car and headed to a flower store. When I got there I walked inside and picked up a few bouquets of roses then I went to the store and picked up some candles, strawberries, and chocolate. After I finished I headed to a jewelry store and got Erika a little something. I drove back home and I started to set up the house a little even though it was for later. I put a cloth over the table and put 2 plates on opposite sides. Then I put candles in the middle with rose petals on the whole table. I trailed rose petals on the floor and up the stairs. I lead them into my bedroom and made a heart on my bed with the rose petals. I smiled then walked downstairs and sat on my couch while I wrote the clues for Erika that would lead her to my house. I would have Anthony give her the first card then they would plant the other ones where I told them to. They would drop the card off and tell her to bring a bag, dress nice, and what time she should start connecting the clues. After I finished writing them I thought of food ideas that I could order us for dinner.

Erika's pov

I woke up this morning then groaned and laid in bed while I went through my phone looking at pictures of me and Tessa then of me and Jake. I smiled and laughed at the memories then my mom called me down for breakfast. As I walked downstairs I looked out the window and I saw Jake drinking water at the side walk. I hurried downstairs and opened the door to see if Jake was still there but he was already running back. I sighed then closed the door and walked into the kitchen. I sat down and my mom handed me food

An:Who was at the door?
E:No one
An:Erika!?
E:Fine I saw Jake outside and I wanted to see if I could catch him
An:Aw sweetie call him later
E:I will I just I don't know?
An:After you eat go get ready then apologize to Tessa then Jake
E:Ok

Me and my mom talked as I ate breakfast then I cleaned the dishes and walked upstairs to take a shower. After my shower I got dressed then said bye to my mom and headed to Tessa's

E:Bye mom
An:Bye Rik
E:See you in a minute
An:Love you
E:Love you too

As I drove to Tessa's I started to get nervous. When I got to her house I knocked on her door and waited for her to answer the door. Once she answered the door she tried to close it but I held the door

E:Tessa wait please?
T:What?
E:Can we talk?
T:*sighs* fine come in
E:Thank you

I walked inside and we sat on the couch

E:Tessa I'm really sorry I know you were trying to help me but I was just being a bitch because I was mad
T:Yeah *laughs*
E:I'm really sorry
T:So am I. I should of understood you better
E:We cool?
T:We're cool
