Jake's pov

Today was a big a day because it was the first huge game of the school year. We've been practicing for months. Today was my day to shine. I got up this morning and showered. After I showered and got dressed I walked downstairs and started to eat breakfast with my mom

P:Hey Jake
J:Hi Mom
P:You excited for the big day?
J:Yeah I've been waiting for a while
P:Oh I'm so proud of you
J:Thank you
P:So
J:What?
P:What's going on with you and Erika?
J:What do you mean?
P:Are you guys dating?
J:I mean kinda we've kissed and have feelings for each other but we haven't gone on a date
P:Well why won't you do it
J:I'm planning it
P:I recommend doing it soon she's very pretty
J:Thanks Mom but I think I'm doing it tonight
P:Aww tell me how it goes
J:I will but I gotta go
P:Ok sweetheart I'll see you later
J:Bye
P:Bye

I put my dish in the sink then grabbed my stuff and headed to school. Once I arrived I said hi to Erika and Tessa like everyday. I may or may not have kissed Erika a few times then we headed to class. Alissa did her usual scolding at me and Erika but we just laughed as usual.

Erika's pov

We all made it to lunch. After I ate and Jake ate I pulled him outside the cafeteria

J:What's up?
E:I just want to wish you luck
J:Well your gonna be there too
E:I know I just thought I should wish you luck now
J:Well thank you
E:No problem oh and don't worry you'll win
J:Awww well you'll be the best cheerleader there
E:Awwwwww thank you

We talked for a little longer then we hugged. I kissed Jake then we walked back into the cafeteria. Lunch ended and we finished the day. Me and Jake had one more practice before the big game so we went to practice. I worked my hardest on this practice so I could do my best. I wanted to be the best so I could cheer Jake on. For once I finished practice sweating a lot. I dried off and changed. I walked outside and Jake threw me over his shoulder

E:Jake!
J:What?
E:Put me down
J:No
E:Ewww your all sweaty
J:So are you
E:Ok your not supposed to say that to a girl
J:Why not?
E:Because your supposed to say I'm beautiful
J:I never said you weren't
E:You called me sweaty
J:And?
E:Your calling me gross
J:No it's a compliment
E:How?
J:I like girls who give an effort in a sport
E:Aww but seriously can you put me down
J:No we're almost there

Jake kept walking and he ended up outside. Finally he put me down and I was standing in front of my car

E:Oh well if your gonna me my personal Uber I'd Lo-

Before I could finish my sentence Jake kissed me. He pulled me closer to him and we kissed for a few more seconds then I pulled away

E:What was that for
J:That was my way of saying good luck
E:Aww well I'll see you later
J:Bye
E:Bye
