Erika's pov

I woke up cuddled up to Jake's chest and I just smiled. I could smell his cologne that comforted me this was my best sleep. I didn't want to get up so I drew with my finger on Jakes chest. He started to wake up and I just smiled at him

J:Morning beautiful
E:Morning jake
J:How'd you sleep
E:The best I've ever slept you
J:Same here
E:We have to get up
J:Ugh can I use your shower
E:Yeah but your gonna smell like a girl
J:That's fine
E:Hahahahahaha ok Joyce
J:Are you gonna call me that all day
E:Yep
J:Well that means your gonna be kissing girl
E:I'll try something new

I kissed Jake then got out of bed

E:I'm showering first
J:Ok

I got in the shower. After I showered I grabbed my hair and makeup things then walked out of the bathroom in just a towel. Jake looked over at me and smiled. I sat down and he got in the shower. I did my hair and makeup then got dressed. Jake walked out of the bathroom with his hair dry and gell in it. He was just in a towel so you could See his abs and Let's just say he was hot. I bit my lip and Jake laughed at me. He grabbed his clothes then walked back in the bathroom. A few minutes later he walked out dressed

E:Ye- shit my parents came home
J:It's fine
E:Are you sure
J:Yeah
E:My stepdad can be really mean
J:I think I can handle him since we've been through the same thing
E:Ok we're gonna eat breakfast

E:Ok

Jake grabbed my cheek then we both leaned in. Our lips met and we kissed for a few seconds

J:Come on

I led Jake downstairs and into the kitchen

An:Morning Rik
D: Who's this
E:This is Jake
An:Oh we've heard so much about you
J:I hope all good things
An:Yes of course

We sat down and my mom gave us some food. Then Dan had to walk in front of Jake

D:So how many girlfriends have you had
J:Like 1 or 2
D:Why did your last relationship end
J:She cheated on me
An:Oh I'm so sorry sweetheart
J:No it's fine I'm over it she's just crazy now
D:What are your plans with my daughter

An:Erika!
E:Sorry
J:Well I plan to take care of her and be there for her
D:Do you wanna be more then friends
J:Yeah that would be great but if we stay friends I'm still gonna care for her
D:Fine your in the clear for now
An:Dan! So Jake do you play a sport
J:Yeah I play football and I'm the quarterback
An:Nice

My mom talked with Jake some more to get to know him while Dan glared at him. After breakfast I rushed Jake out of the house because it was really awkward

E:Yeah we have to finish a project
