You sat down in central park just talking and telling stories. You weren't scared of him like others that's why he hung out with you, you didn't treat him like some hood. You were laughing but soon stopped when you realized Dallas was making his way closer to you. Your back was against a tree, he stared deep into your eyes his were dark and determined. He sat in front of you and put his hands on your shoulders gently pushing you against the tree. You were so nervous, he brought his face closer to you and pressed his lips to yours. You sat there wide-eyed staring down at him. He pulled away smirking. You couldn't help but smile and blush. He sighed and sat down in front of you again.

"Come with me to Tulsa," he said. Your eyes went wide.

"What!?" He looked away and bit his lip. Then he sat next to me leaning his head against the tree.

"Come with me y/n. Your folks and mine don't give a crap about us. We can go and I'll protect you. I won't let anyone hurt you like they do here." He was now in front of you on his knees. He stroked your cheeks.
"And we never have to come back here. We never turn back...please," he begged. You looked deep into his eyes and nodded.

"Really?" he smiled a genuine gorgeous smile and kissed you again but this time you, kissed back, He smirked into the kiss. The smile never left his face that day. Dallas was right, there was nothing holding you back in New York that would only be him so you did want to go with him. That night he stayed over at your house secretly of course. You both stayed up half the night just talking about your new lives in Tulsa. You took your savings that you had and put them in a bag. You did have a job and saved each and every penny for emergencies. Which was a lot of money, You packed some clothes and shoes with a teddy bear and a bit of food. Dallas didn't bring anything so you packed him some of your drunk dad's clothes. You didn't have a mother if you still did you would have never left. She kept us in order even Dallas liked her she's in a better place now. You set a picture of her in your bag and sighed.

"I'm ready," you said he nodded and looked out the window.

"We only have a few hours until daylight," he stated then he turned off the light and took you into his arms. "Let's get some rest," you nodded then faced him, he gave you a warm smile his dimples showing. you smiled slightly "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. I will protect you. Doll, you're way to important to let go." you were now 100% positive you were going his words changed your view.  You kissed his cheek and He smiled and kissed your lips then held you close drifting off to sleep. You were ready, ready to leave this hell hole. Tulsa here we come.
