“She's starting to wake up.” A guy said with a deep, dark voice. I had heard that voice before and I thought it was one of my boyfriends friends, Eric Johnson. He – Eric – was big and muscular, with creepy almost cat like yellow eyes. He had short dark blond hair, he himself was quite short.

“Yeah, well she can move her fingers so she's not dead.” This time, Sam was the one talking. He's my boy.. Well I guess he used to be my boyfriend.

“C'mon, let's go. She's not worth it, please can't we just go and forget about it?” Now the guy who said this is a bit interesting. We'll get back to him later. I can tell you his name though, it's Mark Fort, but everyone calls him “Bone”. Even to this day, I still don't know why he's called that.

“No, I want to wait until she opens her eyes. That's the best part. Plus, I don't think we're finished with her yet.” Wow, isn't Sam the best boyfriend ever.. Oh yeah, that's Sam O’Donnell. I wish I could say “I'm so proud to say he's my boyfriend and he would never hurt me.” but my bruises and scares says otherwise. He and at least one more of his friends are pacing back and forth. I can feel their stares burning in my neck.

As I lay with my cheek pressed to the ground I thought about wether it's worth opening my eyes or not. They know I'm awake and I'm guessing they know I can hear them. I could probably use to see if my face looks the way it should. By that I mean checking if I'll get any bruises, sorry, I shouldn't say if but how many I'll get. Sam is.. well, he's complicated. He's not really complicated though, he's just.. Sam. You'll get to know him a bit better soon, promise. Back to the discussion in my head. Open my eyes or not open my eyes, know that's the question. If I just lay here not moving and keeping them closed for a while maybe they'll just back off and leave me? But then again, they've never done that before so why should this time be any different. For being quite impatient most of the time, I have to say he can be really patient when it comes to these kind of stuff. Watching other people suffer for his own enjoyment. Sadistic, is that what it's called?

“Okey, time's up sleeping beauty. Wake up! Now!” Sam yells and I feel a kick to my stomach followed by another one. “Open. Your. Eyes.” He says with a kick between each word. Because I don't want another one, I slowly open my eyes. I'm pretty much surrounded. Sam bent over me, the big guy Eric and Bone's behind him. There's two other guys as well. They're big – not because of muscles but the more, let's say, jelly substance - , short twins and dumber than a tube of moisturizer. I call them Tweedel-Dumb and Tweedel-Dumber, even known as Bert and Carl McMoree in that order. I think my nicknames are better than their birth names if you ask me.

“They're open, they're open.” I said with a much weaker voice than I'd hoped for.

“I never said you could talk, did I?” Sam says with a grin on his face.

“No, you didn't Sam. Hahah, no you didn't.” Tweedel-Dumb said with a strangely high-pitched voice. Now that's manly, huh. Sam just looked at him with - what I'm guessing - a “shut the f**k up” look. He used to give me that one a lot. Sam looked back at me and kicked me another time as a punishment for speaking without him telling me to. This time right at my nose and I let out a high squeaky sound. That hurts, a lot. The blood came fast and there was a lot of it. But because this isn't really the first time this had happened I knew that screaming would only make it worse. It's better just to shut up and take it. Screaming only provokes him to kick and/or hit more and harder. Maybe it's some kind of sick turn on for him or something. Not only when it's himself who does it but also when it's someone else, like his friends. That might make him even more sick. That he's an animal abuser isn't really something to use on his behalf either is it? Small animals are his 'thing', small innocent animals. I'm not sure what I ever saw or used to see in him to be honest.
