I tried not to look back. Ignoring him probably won't work, but it's worth a try isn't it? I mean, what do I have to loose.

Guess what, it didn't work. I could hear Sam and Eric's talking coming closer, I don't know what they talked about though. The Tweedel Twins were with them too. They didn't talk so that's not how I knew. But I could feel it. Not to be mean but lets just say that they didn't really walk with light steps. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with bigger people I just.. I don't know.. You know what I mean.

“Hey, babe.” Sam wrapped his arm around me, holding me tight with a kiss to the forehead. I didn't look at him, didn't know what to do. I hadn't seen him since that day weeks ago. When I first met Pete. I hadn't even seen him in school.

“What are you doing?” I asked, still not looking at him.

“What do you mean?” He paused, making me look him in the eyes.

“We're not together. I can't do this anymore. I can't keep doing this.” I said with as much strength as I could. He tried to smile but his eyes betrayed him, they were on fire.. Sam didn't like what I'd just said.

“Yes, we are. You know I would never hurt you on purpose. I love you and you love me. We both know that. Let's not pretend otherwise.” His voice was calm but demanding. Like he was telling me to be with him, like I didn't have a choice.

“So you keep telling me but we...”

“Saaaaaaammm!!” Lilly screamed running towards us, cutting me off.

“Hey, there sweetie! How are you feeling?” Sam asked with a big smile. He's always been good with Lilly and she loved him. They always had a lot of fun together, that was one of the reasons I stayed with him. I knew that Sam would do anything to protect Lilly and so would I. Even if it meant that I would get hurt while doing so.

“Good. We're having a picnic. We have sandwiches and lemonade and fruit salad and... nothing more. There's enough for all of us!” Lilly said with the brightest smile. She'd missed having Sam around. He looked at me and I nodded. They could stay, for Lilly.

“Okey, cutie. We'll stay. We were getting some food now anyways so a picnic with you two is perfect.”

I started to pack up everything we had taken with us. The Tweedel twins ate like if there was no tomorrow. Seriously, they ate fast and a lot. I had done almost twenty sandwiches – in case Pete would show up – and they had eaten most of it, plus the fruit salad. Two words. Jelly. Bellies.

The Tweedel's ate, Sam had fun with Lilly but Eric kept giving me this weird look. I can't describe it, but it gave me a scary feeling like if something was wrong. To this day I still don't know why I'd felt that way or why he'd looked at me.

“C'mon Lil. We should go now, can't forget school tomorrow.” I told her whilst packing the cans, the sandwich boxes and the salad bowl.

“When will Sam come to us again? He haven't been at home for a long time. Pete's always the one who's coming.” Lilly said and Sam didn't like that last part. His eyes has always been a little scary, well his whole body language to be honest. I wasn't sure what to say. Sam's always been very good with Lilly, like I said.. wrote before. But I know how he can be and I don't like him around her anymore.

“Lil, sweetie. Sam isn't..” I started to say.

“... going to be away so much anymore. In fact, I'll be coming tomorrow already.” Sam said with a grin, looking at me.
