After the ceremony was finished some, well most, went to Jamie's house for the memorial. It was supposed to be at my house but she insisted that it'd better to have it at her house because it's bigger and brighter. It's also closer to the church so people could walk if they wanted to. Then again no one knew where she lived so that wasn't really possible either..

At her house we served some very simple food that we'd made ourselves the day before. Nothing fancy at all. Just some chicken wings, potato salad, a pasta salad, some fruit and bread. To drink we took water and added some frozen raspberries to keep it cold and also to add flavour.

You might be wondering if Sam and or Lilly is here and yes, she is. The both are. She didn't sit with me though, and I haven't talked to her or been close to her at all today.. I should go over and talk to her. I would've done it sooner but Sam always went away with her when I approached them or someone else have been wanting to talk to me about the ceremony, dad, the food or something else.

I started to walk towards them, they sat at the end of one of the long tables we had brought into Jamie's house. The closer I got the more nervous I started to become too.

“Hey.” I said, a little quite and surprised that Sam hadn't made a move to walk away when he saw me like he did all of the other times today.

“What do you want?” He asked cold.

“Sam do you really.. I just thought I'd spend some time with Lilly. I haven't seen her in so long.” I said, not saying what I wanted to say when I saw his eyes look at me as a warning.

“Hmm, I don't know about that.” He said, stroking her hair and looking at her.

“Why? Please Sam, I need her, she needs me too. Especially now.” I told him, almost pleading.

“Yeah, I guess you're right. Do you want to talk with your sister for a little while?” He asked Lil, holding her around her shoulders and she nodded. “Well.. I don't know about that.. Only if I come along.” He then said.

“Come on Sam.. I haven't seen my little sister or spoken to her for weeks. Just give me some time with her with you or anyone here please..”

7He looked back and forth between me and Lilly. Hesitating wether or not to let her come with me. He then leaned to Lilly and whispered something in her ear. Then looking in her eyes with a sharp look to make sure she understood the seriousness in what ever it was he had said to her.

“You have twenty minutes.” He said, short. “I'm timing. If you're not here in twenty then I will come and find you.” He then told me.. or maybe he was warning me?

Lilly looked a little unsure but then stood up and took my hand. We started to walk out to the porch on the backside and sat down on that stairs. The both of us looked out on the big yard, quite for a few minutes before I decided to break the silence. Everyone else was inside, talking and eating because it was so hot outside today.

“So.. How you've been Lil?” I asked carefully, looking at her.

She was quite, not looking directly at me and pulled her sleeves over her hands. She's acting really weird..

“I've been.. Okey. Not much happening. Just school.” She replied a little shaky as if we were strangers.

“Oh, yeah I know..” I started to get nervous.. Not knowing what to say or how to act.

This whole situation is just so strange and.. Well I wasn't prepared for this. I mean it's not like I expected us to run into each others arms, cry and talk about good old times. I'm not deluded. But I just didn't expect it to be this kind of weird tension in the air between us. Something seems off, and it's not just because of the fact that we're at our fathers memorial. Or maybe it is?
