“I'm sorry for everything I've done. I took you mothers death harder than I thought. I just needed time to cope with what happened. I know that's not an excuse for drinking so much. Four years is a long time. But now is a good time to realize my mistakes as any, right? My two amazing daughters. It might be hard to believe but I love both of you with all my heart. Always have and always will. You two are so good with each other. True sisters. Never forget that and never leave it. Always keep it. I'm sitting here in the kitchen, drinking. A bit ironic isn't? Told you I'm sorry for drinking and here I am, drinking. When I woke up and saw that you girls wasn't here I thought you'd come back soon. But it's been a while now and I've lost it.” By that time I had fallen to the floor, tears coming down my face. I kept reading, “I know you two will take care of each other. You always have and always will. But I need you to know something. Both me and your mother are so proud of the both of you. We love you so much. Always have and always will. You two stick together. No matter what, stick together. Keep each other safe. I'm going to go and be with your mother know.

Love

Dad xoxo”.

I sat like paralyzed on the kitchen floor. What had I just read? Was that really my dads suici.. I couldn't even think it. I ran to the living room and I could see my dad sitting in his arm chair. Thank god.

“Dad?” I whispered. He didn't answer. Tears started to come down my cheeks again, or maybe they never really stopped. “Dad? Dad please answer me!” I said again with a shaky voice whilst slowly walking towards the chair. I dreaded what I was about to see. My dad. Lifeless, with a bottle of vodka, a couple of beer cans and a bottle of painkillers. All looked empty.

“Where's my phone?! Where's my phone! C'mon I need it!” I cried out, whilst looking all over the living room floor. I had to call nine one one. Fast. I didn't have any time to waste. Staircase! I ran and got my phone and started to dial. I gave the woman all the information that she needed. I checked his pulse like she asked me to. He still had one, but it was barley noticeable. That meant that he hadn't tried to long.. He's alive that's what matters. He's alive and the ambulance is on it's way. I just wish they could hurry up and be here already, I though impatiently. I tried to make contact with him but it didn't work. Maybe he's too far gone? Oh please don't.

“Don't give up on us, please dad. Don't give up. Don't just leave us here. You can't. You have to fight, you owe us at least that much!” I cried out, hitting the arm chair. The ambulance came and took my dad to the hospital. I drove behind them in our small car. I couldn't stop looking at the ambulance, I wasn't going to let it leave my sight.

Nurses and doctors ran to his side. They didn't even seem to notice me. I just stood there. Looking. Not knowing what to do. I mean, what could I do. The world, was in absolute chaos. Well the world I was living in anyway. A nurse got hold of my arm and took me to the waiting room. I didn't really take any notice of how the waiting room looked like or who was there. But I did notice an old lady sitting with her – what I'm guessing is her husband - coughing like a crazy person. They looked cute together. They still looked deeply in love. The way my parents used to look at each other..

Minutes passed but they felt like hours.

“Are you the daughter to the man who came in a while ago?” A nurse asked me. I nodded.

“Can you please come with me. The doctors wants to talk to you and ask you a few questions.” She told me. I nodded again and followed her. I had to think of something other than what was waiting me.

I looked at the nurse. I noticed that she was short. Almost shorter than me and I was only 1,68 meters tall. She must have been 1,55 not longer. The nurse also had short bond hair and glasses. I noticed the glasses when she had talked to me in the waiting room. Do you know Dumbledore in 'Harry Potter'? She had glasses just like his. Half moon shaped is case you've never seen it. Also if you haven't, where have you been all these years? Everyone know HP.. my thought's was interrupted when we walked into a room where two doctors and several nurses stood. The doctors handling my dads case stood and talked to each other with serious expressions on their faces. One of them tall, the other one short. Both looked good though. Enough about them now.
