I finished putting Garret's number in my phone after our morning rehearsal.

"You can call me or text anytime. I'm homeschooled so I have no life basically." He laughed.

"Okay, thanks," I left him and headed to my car. Jennifer insisted on me buying a new dress for the formal since I had a date. My original plan was to wear an old dress of mine or borrow one of Jennifer's. I guess Marcel asking me out made things completely different. This morning was lovely after the night I had with Marcel. He was being oddly nice to me today and so was his family. They were all smiles and giggles. It was nice, but weird. We all ate breakfast together, made by Marcel, and just talked until I had to leave for my rehearsal. The Winter Formal was in exactly five hours, so I am hoping that this dress shopping goes fairly quickly.

"What took you so long?" Jennifer yelled.

"Sorry, it was a long drive."

"It's okay," she sighed. "I already found dresses for you to try on." She led me into the store she was standing outside of, grabbing all the dresses she saw before I got here. "And how was your date?" I shimmied into the silver sequined dress she handed me.

"It was nice actually. We almost got caught in a heated make out though." I zipped up the dress on the side, looking at myself in the mirror. Too sparkly.

"Yeah. It must've been really heated." She pointed the side of neck and I automatically brought my hand to whre she was pointing. I forgot that Marcel left a hickey on me. I ignored her, trying on the next dress. A very tight black dress. I already knew that I won't like it.

"Everyone is talking about how Louis is coming tonight." Jennifer gossiped.

'I heard."

"Yeah. I also heard that Zayn got some serious beef with him the past few days and said that if he sees Louis he won't hesitate to fight him."

"Okay," I said unbelievingly. I'm sure there was not going to be a fight in the middle of the dancefloor with all the chaperones we have at our school events.

"He seemed serious about it."

"He's serious about everything. He's in my art class, I know." I took off the dress and picked the third of seven dresses laying over the chair. This one was light and an off white color, with a bit of sparkle.

"Whatever. If something does happen, I will definitely be recording it." I scoffed at her and looked in the mirror. This dress was perfect. Simple and elegant. I changed back into my regular clothes and walked out of the room.

"Okay let's go." Jennifer stood up quickly and walked with me to the register. "Which one did you get?"

"The white one. " I handed the guy my card without glancing at him, still looking at Jennifer.

"Addy?" I turned my attention to the guy checking me out.

"Oh hey Liam." I heard Jennifer mutter awkward before walking away, but still close enough to hear our conversation.

"This for the Winter Formal?" he asked. It was kinda weird having someone you go to school with know what size you wear in dresses now and knowing how cheap you are.

"Yeah. You aren't going?" He shook his head furiously, punching some keys on the screen.

"Nah. I don't want to get in to some trouble that I shouldn't get in, ya know?" I nodded, but I didn't know what he was talking about. Maybe Zayn was serious about causing some trouble at the dance. But I was probably totally off. A dance isn't the ideal place to fight it out with an enemy. I just nodded at Liam and waited for him to hand me my dress and my change. "Well, have fun Addy."
