Marcel looked up at me and fixed his glasses quickly before giving me a quick wave as I approached his table. "Hi Addison." I swallowed, trying to find my voice to speak. "Hi Marcel. And you can call me Addy." He nodded his head and went back to eating his chocolate pudding. "What do you want?! Addy." Louis snarled at me. I observed the large tattoos on his arms and the one peeking out of his shirt on his chest. He sat with a grimace on his face and the beanie on his head added to his bad boy, skater guy look.

He was very protective about Marcel since he was always picked on. No one ever messed with Louis Tomlinson, the school learned its lesson when we all experienced the wrath of Louis. When someone made a comment about Marcel, for the first time that Louis was around, he went crazy. He shoved the guy into lockers, spitting in his face about how cowardly he was. In the end Louis was suspended for a week and the guy ended up with a broken jaw.

"I just. I wanted. To. Talk to you guys." He glared at me while Marcel looked at me in disbelief, shock written all over his face. "Can I sit?" I asked trying to make this situation less uncomfortable. Louis looked at Marcel and raised his eyebrows having a secret conversation with Marcel that I was clearly excluded from. Louis finally looked At me with an unsatisfied smile. "Sure." He patted the spot next to him. "Ummm, actually I want to sit with Marcel." His jaw dropped as he stared wide eyed at me. "S...um, you can. Like. Here? Well, if you...wow." Marcel said.

"He means yes," Louis answered for him. I slid in next to Marcel and rested my hands in my lap while he avoided eye contact. "So....How is your day." I was trying to make conversation for this was completely awkward for all of us. "It's good." Marcel answered. "Now it is." He added quietly, but loud enough for me to hear. I gave him a small smile and he smiled back. "What do you want?" Louis snapped at me while fixing the grey beanie on his head.

"I told you that I just wanted to-" "No. What do you want from us. You have ignored us for the past three years and now you want something. What is it?" I glanced at Marcel while he finished his pudding avoiding eye contact with me. I looked at Lilly, Jennifer, and Georgia sitting across the lunchroom, them laughing and giggling while watching me embarrass myself. "Just to talk. I've decided to open up more." Louis stared me down until I broke eye contact and looked Marcel in the eyes. He has really green eyes and this was the first time I noticed. There was only one thing that I could think of saying, well, asking. "So, are you guys excited for homecoming?"

Marcel looked away At his lunch sadly. "I'm not going. " he then lifted his head quickly and smiled at me. "But that's okay. I didn't go to the last few so what's missing one more?" He laughed nervously. "I wasn't thinking about going either." I told him, trying to relieve him of his sadness. "You have got to be kidding me?!" Louis shouted. I looked down not wanting to see the people staring at us but I could feel their eyes burning into my skull. "Yeah, I don't have a date so..." I trailed off and looked at Louis with sad eyes. I was a good actress, so it was a good thing I did theatre.

Louis gave me an apologetic smile. "Go with your friends," he shrugged trying to cheer me up. I shook my head,"they already have dates. But that's okay. We could hang out or something. "

Marcel looked up at Louis who was gaping at me. "Woah, woah ,woah! You talk to us for ten minutes and now you want to be 'besties' " he said, finger quoting the word 'besties'. "Oh come on." I gently nudged Marcel's shoulder who smiled at me revealing two dimples in his cheeks.

"What class do you have next?" Marcel asked fixing vest. "Um, AP Calculus." His eyes went wide. "M-me too! Cool !"

I smiled at him then looked at Louis. "What about you?" He glanced around nervously before saying," um, world history." Marcel furrowed his eyebrows. "Buy it's not just world history it's A-"
