"Happy Birthday!!!"

"Go away!!"

I grunted as I pulled the blanket over my head. I felt two pairs of hands grab onto the blanket and rip it out of my hands. I was so tired I honestly wasn't in the mood to celebrate my birthday this early in the morning. I crack one eye open and look over to my clock and see that it reads 7 am.

"Wake up you lazy bum!! it's your Sweet 16!"

Was all I heard before I felt something that weighed a million pounds get dropped on me. I grunted and wheezed for air as I struggled under the weight.

"Get off me Charlotte!"

I yelled her full name to get her attention but that obviously didn't matter to her because she then went into a rant about all the things we are doing today.

"First things first is having a healthy breakfast at the Waffle shack, then we are going shopping, next the beach, then back here to get ready for a party!! This is going to be so much fun!!"

She squealed as she finally got off me. I sighed in relief as I snuggled back into my bed. A hand grabbed on to my ankle and yanked hard as I went flying to the floor, my butt bone on fire because of the fall. I yelped in pain as I heard a new voice talking to me.

"Oh no you dont, we are going out in an hour and I already bought you an outfit to wear in the morning so get the hippo up so we can go!"

I groaned as I felt fabric hit my face. I ripped the clothes away from my face and saw a red head standing their looking perfect.

"Ugh Kaylee!!!"

I moaned as she just smiled and patted me on the head.

"Let's go get ready little one,"

I let out a soft growl as I swatted her hand away.

"I'm not 4"

I mumbled as I got up and headed to the bathroom to change. I looked at the outfit and approved: a black flowy skirt with pink roses, a white sweater with 3/4 sleeves, and some simple long necklaces. I fishtailed my hair, brushed my teeth, put on some lip balm, mascara, and a natural looking eye shadow. I sighed as I looked myself in the mirror.

Ehhh good enough.

I walked out and expected to see Kaylee and Charlie but they were no where in sight. I grabbed my white converse and went down the stairs with a little hop to every step as I made my way to the living room. They weren't there.. ughhh. I slipped on my converse and decided to go look in the kitchen.

"HAPPY SWEET 16!!!!"

People shout as I scream and jump away but clumsily fell back on my butt where it was already sore from hitting the floor this morning. I look up and see the FamBam, the gang, and even a few cousins. My favorite cousins were even here, Charalotte Rodio and her older brother Frankie, who has been obsessed with Charlie for the longest time.

"Rodio!"

I screamed as I popped up faster than you can say chocolate. I ran over to her, tackling her into a hug as she laughed and I squeezed harder.

"Its nice to see you too Pay"

She said happily as she squeezed me back harder. I wheezed and giggled as we let go of each other. I stared back into her warm light brown eyes. She wore her wavy brown hair in a messy pony tail, she had on a baby blue skirt like mine, wavy and to her mid thigh, a tight crop top, grey and white striped. She even had on some hipster nerd glasses.

"you look dazzlin Miss Rodio"

I say in a terrible southern accent that brings a few laughs from her.
