After Shard transported me to Fencing he disappeared. Again. I looked around and saw Snow. She motioned for me to follow her and the other girls. So I did. As I walked over to her I looked all around. It was a huge gym. There were glass walls that extended all the way up to a wooden roof. The whole gym was surrounded by trees and bushes. A lot of nature. I finally caught up to Snow and the other girls.

“Hey, Alexis. Seems like we’re in fencing together.” She smiled.

“Yeah, but I have no idea how to do fencing.” I shrugged one shoulder.

“That’s alright. Mr. Dragon normally gives a demonstration with his wife. I believe you’ve met her before.” She smirked.

“No way! You mean Ms. Dragon from the theatrical arts is married to our gym teacher!?” I gasped.

“Yep. Shocker, isn’t it.” Her smirk widened.

“Complete shocker.”

“Well we have to get dressed in our fencing clothes.” She pointed at the door behind us.

“I don’t have one.” I pursed my lips.

“They set one out for you. It’s probably in your locker. C’mon” She tugged on my arm and pulled me through the double doors. It was the girls’ lockers. She directed me to a locker and told me it was mine. I pulled on the little lever (that had no lock) and opened the door. I saw a brand new fencing suit. It was crisp, white and clean. I looked around and saw everyone changing into their suits, so I did the same.

When I was finished I took my mask and walked back out into the gym. I saw a whole set of guys sitting on the benches. But only one guy stood out among them all. Ché. We’re practically in all the same classes. So far I haven’t seen him in Dancing and Singing. Only that class. I saw him in every other class. As soon as he turned to the left he spotted me and smiled. I smiled back at him and jogged over to where he was. Only as I got closer, I realized some of the guys’ suits had bits of black on them. I mentally shook myself and focused on Ché. He got up and opened his arms. I ran faster and faster until the gym around me was just a blur of colors. Ché smirked. I stopped abruptly in front of him so I wouldn’t knock him over. Again. I hugged him tight. When they said your creator is like your father or mother, they really meant it. Ché was kind of like a father to me, in a weird way. It was kind of cool of him to be there for me. But it will be weird to go out with my own father. I shuddered mentally. Never think of that! Ever, again! I mentally yelled at myself. He’s just my friend. A really good friend. I let go of him and smiled at him.

“So you’re in this class, too? What a big surprise” I said sarcastically.

He laughed and said, “I did tell you, we’re in a lot of the same classes.”

I laughed along with him. After we stopped laughing he said,

“I see your power is improving. That’s very good.”

“Yeah.” I smiled then continued, “Anyway what’s with the bits of black on everyone’s suits?”

“The better you get, bits of black appear. When your whole suit turns black, it means you’re kind of like a professional. Then you get to fight in the war and stuff.” He explained.

“War!?” My eyes grew wide in shock.

“Yeah. Angels and demons are constantly at war. Aneons have to eventually choose what side we want to belong on. That is when you complete the change. Your wings will no longer be white and black. Your wings would molt and be either white or black. But you and the other Anon, you two get to be on both sides. You two are supposed to stop all war and keep the peace between the two worlds. Also you rule over all three worlds; the world above, the world below, and the human world, which is also known as the natural world.”
